Doko app, an initiation by Rabi Lamichhane will help treat COVID-19 patients for free

In Nepal, the number of COVID-19 cases is that at an alarming pace, as are death tolls. Rabi Lamichhane's initiation, the Doko app, appears to provide some relief in the midst of all this tragedy. COVID-19 patients who cannot afford to be admitted to expensive hospitals will now benefit from the Doko app.

Doko App Overview: To support corona patients, all you have to do is play a game inside the app. Isn't it intriguing? According to Rabi Lamichhane, no one can lose in the game—everyone who takes part will win. To begin, make sure you've signed up for the app, which is available on both Android and iOS.

So, How do we assist?

You must register for an episode called "Kam Ka Kura" after successfully signing up. A regular package and a weekly package are available for NPR 19 and NPR 49, respectively, and can be subscribed to here. You'll be taken to the payment options page after selecting a kit. You will be enrolled in the game after making the payment.

Here's my take on it. The money we pay at registration goes directly to the treatment of COVID-19 patients. The game will last nearly 45 minutes and will be available three times a week. You will not only be assisting the squad, but you will also have the opportunity to win NPR 1 lakh if you correctly answer all of the questions.

So, you can either win for yourself or choose to donate the money. This is why Rabi Lamichhane said that no one in the game would lose. He went on to say that if the app gets more user interest, the ads would help raise funds for care.

Janamaitri Hospital has partnered with this project and will provide all required services to COVID-19 patients for a charge or for free. Over 100 regular beds, 12 ICU beds, and seven ventilators are available at the hospital in Balaju, Kathmandu.

Final thoughts

We wholeheartedly applaud Rabi Lamichhane and his team, as well as Janamaitri Hospital, for launching this initiative to use revenue from the Doko app to help treat COVID-19 patients. And what we're saying is, let's make the most of the app, which will help both you and the team (if you win the game). Also, to stay healthy, please take all precautionary measures recommended by the government or local authorities.
