On June 10, Skoda will launch the new Octavia in India

Skoda Auto India will eventually debut the fourth-generation Skoda Octavia in India on June 10, 2021, after a lengthy delay owing to the second wave of the Covid-19 outbreak.

The new Skoda Octavia's production in India began in April 2021, with the first unit being brought out from the automaker's manufacturing facility in Aurangabad in a Lava Blue color choice.
Overview
Design
The fourth-generation Octavia, which made its world debut in November 2019, receives a redesigned front end with a new grille, slimmer LED headlights with LED DRLs, and LED fog lamps. The tail lamps are made of LEDs. It has larger 19-inch alloy wheels. The new Octavia is 19mm longer and 15mm broader than the previous generation vehicle.
Interior
The 10-inch free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, digital meter panel, two-spoke steering wheel with knurled scroll wheels, tri-zone climate control, ambient lighting, and wireless phone charging are among the notable elements inside the cabin.
Engine
The engine options will be limited to a 2.0-litre TSI (turbocharged stratified injection) petrol unit producing 190PS and 320Nm of peak torque. The engine will be paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission.
The Toyota Corolla Altis and Honda Civic are no longer available in India, therefore the fourth-generation Skoda Octavia will compete with the Hyundai Elantra. In India, the new Skoda Octavia is estimated to cost between Rs 17 lakh and Rs 25 lakh (ex-showroom).
In India, Skoda Auto India currently sells the Rapid, Superb, and Octavia RS 245 models. The new Skoda Kushaq, which had its global debut in March 2021, will be available in India by the end of this month.
