OOppo's latest F series phone, the Oppo F21 Pro, has been introduced in Nepal.

It sports a "fiberglass leather design" and is powered by a Snapdragon 680 CPU. It must be emphasized that this is a 4G version.

Moreover, there is also a 5G variant with a Snapdragon 695 SoC, but there is no information on when it will be available in Nepal.

Design

Oppo's Fibreglass Leather design is featured on the rear of the Oppo F21 Pro. In other words, the back has a leather-like finish.

However, such a finish is only available in the Sunset Orange color choice.

There are other Cosmic Black and Auroral Blue colors that lack "Oppo's industry-first Fibreglass Leather design.

With a width of 7.5mm and a weight of 175g, the phone is both tiny and light. A 3.5mm headphone jack, mic, USB-C connector, and speaker are located on the bottom.

Display

The phone is equipped with a 6.4-inch AMOLED Full HD+ display. The display has a refresh rate of 90Hz, a touch sampling rate of 120Hz (5 fingers), and a maximum touch sampling rate of 180Hz (2 fingers).

It has a punch-hole cutout in the top left corner of the display. In addition, the display has an optical fingerprint sensor.

The top and side bezels are rather narrow, but the chin is significantly broader. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protects the display.

Hardware

The gadget is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor. This is a fairly common chipset in low-cost phones.

The CPU was initially spotted in Nepal in the Redmi Note 11, however, it is now found in the majority of cheap to mid-range handsets.

The Snapdragon 680 is built in the 6nm technology and features an Adreno 610 GPU as well as a cluster of four Kryo 265 Gold CPU cores (up to 2.4GHz) and four Kryo 265 Silver CPU cores (up to 1.9GHz).

The phone has 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It includes a dedicated microSD card slot for expanding storage.

Camera

The Oppo F21 Pro includes three cameras, including a 64MP primary camera. A 2MP microlens camera and a 2MP depth camera completes the set.

With a 15x magnification, the microlens allows users to shoot images at a tiny level.

A 32MP Sony IMX709 sensor is located on the front. This is the same sensor that is used in the Oppo F21 Pro 5G.

Battery and OS

The phone includes a 4500mAh battery with 33W SUPERVOOC rapid charging capabilities.

Furthermore, the phone is powered by Android 12 and ColorOS 12.1.

In Nepal, the Oppo F21 Pro costs Rs. 44,999 (8/128GB). The phone is available in Nepal from Oppo authorized stores.

The Oppo A53 4GB/64GB variant price in India is Rs. 12,990 while its 6GB/128GB model costs Rs. 15,490. It will be up for order starting today at Flipkart and comes in Fancy Blue, Fairy White and Electric Black colors.

We can expect the Oppo A53 to launch in Nepal for a  price around NPR 22,990 for 4GB/64GB and NPR. 25,500 for 6GB/128GB variants.
