The most anticipated NTorq yet has been unveiled by Jagadamb Motors, the authorized distributor of TVS scooters in Nepal.

TVS NTorq XP is a completely new NTorq variant with segment-leading power and a few unique quirks and features.

Design

TVS NTorq XP adheres to all of the stylistic principles established by previous generations.

The front part features the same T-shaped LED DRL as well as quad-LED headlights.

However, NTorq XP gets a glossy finish, red-colored alloy wheels, and a three-tone color, which is a mix of Red, Black, and Silver.

Performance

A 124.79cc, 4-stroke, 3-valve, Air-cooled FI engine powers the TVS NTorq. It has a maximum power of 10.2PS at 7000rpm and a maximum torque of 10.8Nm at 5500rpm.

It is also linked to an Automatic Centrifugal Clutch and has a 5.8-liter fuel tank capacity.

TVS NTorq 125 XP Price in Nepal and Availability

In terms of pricing, the TVS NTorq 125 XP costs Rs. 3,05,900 in Nepal. Furthermore, it will be added to the long list of TVS NTorq 125 versions.

The NTorq XP is around Rs. 10,000 more expensive than the previous NTorq RTFI.

TVS NTorq 125 Race Edition price in Nepal is set at Rs. 2,75,900. TVS NTorq 125 Race Edition price in Nepal is only Rs 16,000 more compared to the base TVS NTorq 125 disc brake version which is priced at Rs. 2,57,900. TVS Ntorq 125 is also available in the super squad version which is priced at Rs. 2,79,900.

In place of the regular graphics, the NTorq 125 Race Edition now gets chequered flag graphics along with 'Race Edition' decals and the bodywork gets a three-tone combination of matte black, metallic black and metallic red.

Launched in Nepal in September 2018, The NTorq 125 is one of the sportiest 125 cc scooters on offer and was also the first scooter to get Bluetooth connectivity. Customers can pair their NTorq 125 with the TVS Connect smartphone app too.

It continues to be powered by the same 124.79 cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, three-valve, air-cooled, SOHC engine, which puts out a maximum power of 9.25 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 10.5 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm.

 

TVS has steadily increased its two-wheeler exports in the fourth quarter of 2019. In November 2019, the company's total exports grew by 27 percent, increasing from 58,476 units in November 2018 to 74,060 units last month. Two-wheeler exports grew by 24 percent, increasing from 46,889 units in November 2018 to 58,128 units in November 2019.

Similarly, TVS's total exports grew by 20 percent in October 2019, increasing from 57,926 units in October 2018 to 69,339 units last month. Two-wheeler exports grew by a 22 percent increase from 45,319 units in October 2018 to 55,477 units in October 2019.
