Car batteries are an essential part of an automobile. Factors like weather, battery type, age, and use can affect if your battery lasts a good amount of time or a long time. 

There are ways you can reduce wear on your battery and maintain your car’s battery health:

Turn off your vehicle

First and foremost – always turn off your vehicle and additional accessories.

As obvious as it may seem, don’t forget this step! Ensure that whenever you are checking into your battery and working with it, keep your vehicle completely turned off, along with your lights and all accessories.

This also goes for day-to-day – when your vehicle does not need to be running, keep it off – save your battery.

Keep it cool

While it may be difficult with some crazy high temperatures, we suggest that you try to park your vehicle in shaded or cooler areas whenever possible, versus in direct sunlight.

This will keep your battery as cool as possible. Believe it or not, heat can cause major damage to car batteries due to water loss as well as heat distortion. 

Keep it clean

Keeping your car battery clean is key to ensuring its best possible performance.

You should be cleaning your battery cables and around the terminals regularly to prevent corrosion build-up and to help ensure that no external material falls into the battery when you open it.

If it’s too late and you already have corrosion built up on your battery, no need to worry.

To remove this build-up, believe it or not, you can use a very basic paste made of handy household items.

Coat and protect

To protect your battery from rust and corrosion, your best solution is to keep it coated.

You can use felt protectors for your terminals. We also suggest that you use a protector spray coating – this is essentially greased which is made for high temperatures.

Alternatively, many suggest the handyman approach of simply using good old Vaseline instead of a spray protector. You can test out both options and use whichever you prefer.

Recharge

To keep your battery in top shape and to keep it charged, It is very tough to predict the life of any given battery.

The longer a car sits idle, the more a battery slowly but surely loses its charge.

The simplest solution to this is to drive your car regularly while making a point to drive distances of over 10km regularly.

Additionally, you can buy a standard car battery charger and charge it approximately every 2 months.

Just remember that like any battery, there is such thing as overcharging which can shorten its life.

Realme Narzo 10 and Narzo 10A have been officially launched in India. Specifications-wise, the Realme Narzo 10 seems to be a rebranded version of the Realme 6i that was launched in Myanmar in March. The Realme Narzo 10A, on the other hand, appears as a rebranded version of the Realme C3 Thailand model that was launched in February.

Realme Narzo 10 specification, features

The dual-SIM (Nano) Realme Narzo 10 runs Android 10 with Realme UI on top and features a 6.5-inch HD+ (720x1600 pixels) Mini-Drop display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 89.8 percent screen-to-body ratio. The display panel is protected by a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass. Under the hood, the phone has an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 SoC, coupled with Mali G52 GPU and 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM. The phone has the quad rear camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.25 lens that has a field-of-view (FoV) of 119 degrees. The camera setup also includes a 2-megapixel monochrome portrait sensor with an f/2.4 lens and a 2-megapixel macro shooter with an f/2.4 aperture.

For selfies and video calls, the Realme Narzo 10 has a 16-megapixel camera sensor at the front, along with an f/2.0 lens. The selfie camera also supports HD (720p) video recording at 30fps frame rate. However, the rear camera setup supports full-HD (1080p) video recording.

The Realme Narzo 10 has 128GB of internal storage that is expandable using a dedicated microSD card slot. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port.There is also a fingerprint sensor at the back of the phone. Realme has provided a 5,000mAh battery on the Narzo 10 that supports 18W Quick Charge.

The dual-SIM (Nano) Realme Narzo 10A comes with Realme UI based on Android 10 and has a 6.5-inch HD+ (720x1600 pixels) display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. For photos and videos, there is a triple rear camera setup that houses a 12-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens. The Realme Narzo 10A has a 5-megapixel selfie camera at the front. The cameras on the Realme phone support features such as AI Beautification, HDR, Panorama, and Timelapse. Furthermore, there is up to full-HD (1080p) video recording support with 30fps frame rate.

The Realme Narzo 10A has 32GB of onboard storage that is expandable via a dedicated microSD card slot. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and a Micro-USB port. Users get a 5,000mAh battery on the Realme Narzo 10A that supports reverse charging.

Diesel engines tend to return more kilometres per litre than a similarly sized petrol motor.so we can say the mileage of the diesel engine is more than that of a Petrol engine. This factor tends to be the sole reason the majority of us tend to go for a diesel variant.  A diesel engine does not need a spark plug and thus has higher compression. This makes the diesel engine utilise more fuel as compared to a petrol engine. However in the long run, if you have to drive for a longer distance in a smaller span of time choosing Diesel engine car will be more beneficial.

In the end, it's not possible to say which is better, petrol or diesel engines, because it's very much a case-by-case, or car-by-car thing, and it also comes down to personal preference. Some people just can't stand the sound that diesel engines make, particularly under strain, so they'll never buy one. Although some high-end brands, now make diesel that are so quiet you can barely tell which engine you're driving without putting the windows down.

Besides that, there are now many alternatives to petrol and diesel cars. Technological advances are beginning to make alternative energy vehicles a realistic alternative to petrol and diesel ones.
