Razer is definitely one of the best gaming brands out there. It specializes in electronics, applications, and systems for games. However, the firm has now launched the Razer Book 13, the first non-gaming notebook. It seems like Razer is seeking to expand into the Ultrabook market with this. 

 

Razer Book 13 looks very close to Blade Stealth 13 when we look into its design. The frame is made of anodized CNC aluminum, although the weight of the entire thing is around 1.34 kilograms. 

The Razer Book 13 base variant is powered by the Tiger Lake Core i5-1135G7 from Intel. It should be the first time that the brand is offering the option of Core i5 on its laptop. The organization thus advertises it as an exclusive edition.

Similar to the Blade Stealth 13, the Per-Key RGB Backlit Keyboard comes with the Razer Book 13. The keyboard is operated by Razer Chroma RGC and users can configure each key's lighting according to their preference. The laptop's sound system is supported by THX Spatial Audio. For biometrics, Windows Hello facial recognition comes with the laptop. Two Thunderbolt 4 slots, one USB Type-A port, a full-size HDMI port, a MicroSD slot, and a 3.5 mm combo headphone/microphone port are available for I / O.

For the base model, Razer Book 13 has been released with a starting price of $1,199.99. The Main i7 models for the UHD and FHD (touch) variants cost $1,599.99 and $1,999.99 respectively. If it releases here, we can expect the price of Razer Book 13 in Nepal to begin at NPR 1,50,000.

Huawei is doing great even while facing a China-US trade ban. But the biggest hit for the company is uncertainty of Google service support on Huawei devices. Even though uncertainty of Google support still lingers, Huawei is developing its own operating system the Harmony OS as a backup, if they really have to fall for plan B.

Not only that, Huawei along side its OS is also developing their own ecosystem of accessories and smart wearables. For that Huawei has developed the Kirin A1 SoC dedicated to this category. The Huawei FreeBuds 3 and the Watch GT 2 are two of the products that use this chipset and Huawei wants to expand its wearable port folia even further. Huawei is launching products with this chipset next month in India.

Specification of Kirin A1 chipset includes a dual-chip design with support for Bluetooth 5.1 and BLE 5.1 protocols. BLE 5.1 protocol allows the chipset fall back to low energy mode when not in use reducing the power consumption as low as 10mA per MHz. Kirin A1 chip uses a single-core Arm Cortex M7 processor with a maximum frequency of 200MHz consisting of a Bluetooth chip, an audio processing unit, a “low-power” application processor, and a power management unit designed to deliver accurate readings and low-latency readings from multiple sensors and high-quality aural experience on audio accessories.

The Oppo F15 is the successor to the Oppo F11 and Oppo F15 features a new, slim design, USB Type-C port, an in-display fingerprint sensor and four rear cameras. The new finish looks nice and the phone feels light to hold. The 6.4-inch AMOLED display gets bright and has good sharpness, thanks to the full-HD+ resolution. 

Oppo F15 is powered by the MediaTek Helio P70. There's also 8GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage in Oppo 15 phone. The F15 runs on ColorOS 6, which is based on Android 9 Pie. General app performance is good and the phone handles games fairly well too. The 4,000mAh battery also offers solid battery life and there's fast charging, through VOOC 3.0 Flash Charge. 

The primary 48-megapixel sensor captures good, pixel-binned photos but you can't shoot at the full, 48-megapixel resolution. The 8-megapixel wide-angle camera has autofocus, so it can be used for very close-up shots. Low-light performance is it inadequate and there's no support for 4K shooting.

The new-generation Mahindra Thar has been finally unveiled and the off-roader takes a quantum leap over the current model. The all-new offering is feature-packed, technology-rich and designed to meet the current and future safety and emission norms. The Thar will be made available in the AX and LX series. The new Mahindra Thar will be launched on October 2, 2020.

All-New Thar Design

The All-New Thar stays true to the iconic 2-door silhouette but adds purposeful and contemporary touches and design elements to it. With a wider, better-balanced stance and a choice of hard top and convertible rooftop options, the All-New Thar imposes its presence wherever it goes.

This design approach flows into the interiors as well. While retaining the commanding driving position that is an integral part of the Thar’s DNA, the All-New Thar has a completely redesigned interior that mirrors the robust, retro-styled cues of the Thar’s exteriors.

The second-generation Thar is significantly bigger than its predecessor but will retain its boxy silhouette. Then there are the familiar elements like circular headlamps but they're now surrounded by LED DRLs which give the Thar an upmarket look and it's not overdone too. It gets LED tail lights, tailgate-mounted spare wheel and new 18-inch alloy wheels finished in black among others. 

All-New Thar Performance

The petrol is a 2-litre unit which churns out 150 bhp and 320 Nm while the diesel is a 2.2-litre unit making 130 bhp. · The car also gets new gearbox options: 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission & 6-speed manual transmission mated to an authentic manual shift-on-the-fly 4x4 transfer case. The AX Series will only be available with manual transmission on both the petrol and diesel, while the LX Series will see the diesel get a manual and automatic transmission but the petrol will only be available with an automatic.

Rough trips demand tough vehicles. That’s why the All-New Thar has been built on a rugged 3rd Generation chassis and tested extensively in some of the harshest terrain in India and across the world.
