The already powerful naked Yamaha MT-15 155cc is now future-proof with its BS-VI-compliant engine.

The new MT-15 comes with a VVA engine for agile acceleration with model-specific ECU, optimized secondary reduction gear ratio for snappy riding in town, A&S clutch for stress-free gear shifts, motard-like riding position with a great deal of freedom on a tight, concentrated silhouette, 282 mm front disc brake with single-channel ABS for excellent stopping power.

The advanced design expressing 'Torque and Agility' is further accentuated by dynamic front face styling headlight, a short tail with a vertical taillight, and overall 'graphics and finish' illustrating the unpredictable MT.

Businesses in many countries and regions around the world have been hit hard by the coronavirus. In this time, various design houses and designers are bringing concept designs of cars and motorcycles.

The concept picture of Yamaha FZ electric motorcycle is now being discussed in various media. Indian transportation designer Aryan Hussain has designed a Yamaha FZ that can be converted to an electric concept.

Hussain's concept design is influenced by the Yamaha FZ16. He has designed this electric motorcycle in street fighter design.

Features like sporty design, attractive LED headlamps, double up a swing arm, single-piece handlebars, LED tail lamps have been included in the concept.

This electric motorcycle is built on a belt-drive concept, it has double tone alloy wheels. The designer has not revealed anything about its power figure. Looking at its design, it can be assumed that the motorcycle will be powerful.

There is no connection between these designers and Yamaha. Hussain has shown Yamaha the possibility. Yamaha, which has announced its focus on electric motorcycle and scooter production, must have been inspired by such a design.

Engine and Transmission

The 155cc (Liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 4-valve) MT-15 BS6 compliant dark warrior generates an impressive 18.5 PS at 10,000 RPM and 13.9 NM @8500 RPM. 

The MT15 6-speed transmission allows to cruise at low RPM even in higher gears, thus saving fuel without missing on the thrill.

Safety 

Dark warrior MT-15 comes with:

Assist and slipper clutch which prevents excessive engine braking, thus reducing its effects on chassis behavior making it more smooth, enjoyable downshifts.

Anti-lock braking system(ABS) helps in achieving improved braking performance by providing better stability and control at all speeds without any wheel lockups and skidding in slippery situations. 

Side Stand Cut Off Switch which helps you be assured that you do not forget to remove the side stand during the immediate rides.
