Force Motors has launched the 2021 Gurkha off-road adventure lifestyle SUV in India. Force Gurkha SUV, which is now in its second generation, has received a massive facelift compared to its preceding model.

The new generation Force Gurkha SUV will get an upgraded BS 6 compliant 2.6-litre diesel engine mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Force Motor has upgraded the style quotient of the 2021 Gurkha with several changes on the outside and more on the inside. The SUV now sports a bolder look with a new front grille.

The new single-slat grille with Gurkha branding, LED Pro Edge headlights with integrated DRLs which is a segment-first, LED indicators, new bumpers, fog lights, a new snorkel, a newly designed 'Shark Gill' on the fender, a bigger rear windshield, newly designed wing mirrors with Khukri engraving, new black plastic cladding, rear-door mounted spare wheel and LED taillights among others.

The new Force Gurkha measures 4116 mm in length, 1812 mm in width, 2075 mm in height, while the wheelbase stands at 2400 mm.

Force Gurkha Engine

The new Force Gurkha gets a Mercedes-Benz sourced BS6-compliant 2.6-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine that churns out 91 bhp at 3,200 rpm and 250 Nm of peak torque at 1,400-2,400 rpm.

Transmission options include a five-speed Mercedes G-28 manual gearbox couples with the four-wheel-drive (4WD) as standard.

The new Force Gurkha has a crawl-up angle of 35 degrees while the water-wading capacity is rated at 700 mm and it has a ground clearance of 205 mm.

Force Gurkha Features

There is a new Kenwood sourced 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity and Navigation with true mirroring via USB.

It also comes with a new gear lever and 4X4 lever, moulded floor mat, panoramic side windows, captain seats, armrest for the rear passenger.

Other creature comforts include tilt and telescopic adjustment for steering, power windows, central locking, speed-sensing door locks, single-piece rear door with wipers, variable intermittent speed front wipers, and more.

Force Gurkha Safety

It gets features like dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensor, cornering lamp, one-touch lane change indicator, tyre pressure monitoring system and follow-me-home & Lead me headlights among others.

The new Force Gurkha is more spacious and has class-leading elbow room while offering 500-litre boot space.

Force Gurkha Price

The all-new Force Gurkha has been launched in India at INR 13.59 lakh, ex-showroom will be available in five colours - Red, Orange, Green, Grey and White.

Launched last week, the Auto Expo 2020 has put on its offroad SUV Gurkha show customized by Force Motors. There is a huge crowd of observers watching the company custom-made Force Gurkha SUV.

Force Gurkha Storm Features

The only two-door Force Gurkha SUV has an off-roading tire of Maxis. It makes this SUV far above the ground.

The plastic cladding on the front headlamps and front grille have made the vehicle even more aggressive. The huge size of the roof rack given in it makes the Force Gurkha Storm look very different.

Two fuel cans are placed behind Force Gurkha Storm SUV. With the help of this, you will not have to worry about fuel even though there is no gasoline pump on the long off-road. Extra light mounted on the roof of Gurkha will not be a problem of luminosity in any terrain. According to the company's information, mechanical changes have not been made to it.

Sales of Force Motors products are also being distributed in Nepal. Particularly mid-size commercial vehicles of Force Motors have been distributing sales in Nepal and Force Gurkha was also tested for a few months.

Force Motors has teased its upcoming 4X4 Gurkha SUV, which has undergone a considerable facelift in terms of design and specifications, ahead of its official launch.

2021 Force Gurkha SUV is expected to launch in September. Gurkha SUV was showcased at the Auto Expo in February last year.

2021 Force Gurkha is likely to be offered in three-door and five-door versions. It is expected to come in both four-seater and six-seater variants.

The new Gurkha will stand apart from its predecessor in terms of design, which has been given a considerable facelift to look more like a contemporary lifestyle vehicle.

Force Motors is likely to offer a 2021 Gurkha with the 2.6-litre diesel engine, along with a 5-speed gearbox.

The engine has the capacity to produce a maximum output of 89 bhp and 260 Nm of peak torque.

2021 Force Gurkha SUV will take on Mahindra Thar, which had the edge in the niche 4X4 segment since its launch last year.
