The Nabil Skill Hero Award is back again to honor & recognize such individuals who have demonstrated their commitment to the advancement of skills by implementing skill development that is relevant & result-oriented.

The award ceremony will be hosted on March 28, 2021, where 4 individuals who have practised skills to create impact will be felicitated.

The choice of Award will be done through nominations from expert sources, reviewed through a jury panel, and will be felicitated to individuals from each category i.e. Art & Culture, Entrepreneurship, Tourism & Hospitality, and Science & Technology.

Eligibility:
1. Should be a Nepali Citizen.
2. Should have a minimum of 7 years of work experience.
3. Should have demonstrated skills in the provided category.
4. His/her work should have contributed to Skill Promotion/Skill Development.

Mandira Shrestha, 19-year-old Health Activist Felicitated as Wai Wai Glocal Teen Hero Nepal 2020

Mandira Shrestha has been awarded the title of “Wai Wai Glocal Teen Hero 2020” amidst a Virtual Award Gala organized by Glocal Pvt. Ltd. It is the sixth iteration of the Glocal Teen Hero Award and the virtual event where Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security, Hon. Mr. Rameshor Ray Yadav felicitated the winner.

Mandira Shrestha is a 19-year-old Health Activist from Ramechhap. She worked as the team leader of "Child-led report on UPR, 2020". She is also actively involved as a member of the Integrated National Adolescent Girls Forum, also a core member of Girls in Education, facilitator of Tri-Padma Child Club, a community volunteer, and trainer in the SRHR field working with the target group of children, adolescents, youths, women.

Glocal Teen Hero is the only national platform in Nepal to identify and honor outstanding teenagers whose creativity, commitment, experience, and strong leadership have helped them achieve success in life. This award recognizes and honors the exceptional teen whose work is sustainable and who can think out of the box addressing the issues and creating an impact in society.

Fostering a collaborative community among recipients and strengthening the national recognition of today’s young leaders is a primary goal of the Glocal Teen Hero Award.
