Benelli's parent company, Qianjiang, has been developing a new line of two-wheelers for 2021. The company has previously unveiled a number of middleweight motorcycles, some of which will be sold in markets other than China as Benelli bikes.

Qianjiang has recently received approval for some additional upcoming motorcycle body types in China. Surprisingly, a quarter-liter fully-faired sportsbike is also on the list. Furthermore, model images and specifications for this bike have been leaked on the internet.

According to the leaked image (above), the bike has fully-faired aggressive styling.

Due to its sleek yet aggressive and sharp aesthetics, segment rivals such as the KTM RC390 and the TVS Apache RR310 may feel the heat from this bike. Some may notice a resemblance to the BMW S1000RR's twin-beam headlamps in this bike.

Though its official name has not yet been confirmed, the spy image suggests that it will have features such as a dual headlamp setup hidden beneath an angular fairing, clip-on handlebars, split-type seats, and raised rear-set footpegs to give it an aggressive stance.

A 249 cc liquid-cooled engine with a maximum power output of around 27bhp is expected. A six-speed transmission will be available.

The bike weighs only 159 kg (kerb), making it one of the lightest in its class.

According to the leaked documents, the model will come in two variants. The upper trim will have an aluminum single-sided swingarm, whereas the lower trim will have a steel double-sided swingarm.

In China, it will be marketed as a Qianjiang product, while Benelli's logo will be imprinted on the bike for the international market. Given the country's growing demand for premium motorcycles, it won't be surprising if it arrives in India in 2022.

The Italian brand Benelli is famous for producing two-wheelers. The company has been proving itself in the production of motorcycles in the commuter segment from premium motorcycles.

Most of the products produced by the company are also available in the Nepali market. In Nepal, Benelli's motorcycles can be bought for Rs 430,000.000. Brace yourself, Consumers! 'Benelli 180S' has entered the Nepali market. 

This premium looking motorcycle is popular due to its low weight, high power, and attractive texture. Thus, it is natural to be interested in whether the motorcycle will come to the Nepali market.

Benelli 180 S Specs

The company has given Benelli 180S a single cylinder, 4 valves, liquid-cooled, FI engine with a capacity of 175.3 cc.

Based on the race inspiration chassis design, the engine in this motorcycle delivers a maximum of 18 bhp of power at 9500rpm and 14 Nm of torque at 7000 rpm.

The company has given Benelli 180S inverted telescopic suspension on the front and mono scope on the back. Disc brakes are available on both the wheels for safety. The motorcycle has 260 mm disc brakes at the front and 220 mm disc brakes at the rear.

Available with a ground clearance of 170 mm, the motorcycle has a 1345 mm wheelbase and a 10-liter capacity fuel tank.

Performance

A 754cc inline 2-cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, 4-valve engine powers the Benelli 752s. It has a maximum power of 75.09HP at 8500rpm and a maximum torque of 67Nm at 6500rpm. It is also mated to a 6-speed transmission and has a 14.5-liter fuel capacity. It is a EURO4-compliant engine.

In terms of suspension, it has Up-Side Down Marzocchi Forks at the front and a Central Adjustable Monoshock at the rear.

Design

With sporty and harmonious lines, the Benelli 752s adopts a modern design. It has compact aesthetics without sacrificing its dynamic character. It was created with the idea of sportiness and elegance in mind, resulting in an exciting package.

Starting at the front, its unique projector headlamp setup gives it a classic Benelli feel. Similarly, the rear section has a short exhaust that adds to its raw appearance.

With its exposed exoskeleton, the Benelli 752s appears to be a beast in motion. The trestle in steel tubes feels minimalistic but sporty thanks to the blacked-out design.
