DSM Global Company is the authorized dealer in Nepal for Borgward Auto-company.Borgward, a German car company first founded in 1919, originated in Bremen, Germany. The company's official collaboration with DSM Global Company in Nepal has now been announced and are planning for the launch of the new SUV.

The new Borgward X5, rumored to be introduced in early 2020, is expected to bring a breath of fresh air to the compact SUV market. Like its German engineering, the X5 provides flexibility, spaciousness, comfort and off-road capability.The Borgward X5 is available in black, white, gold, and red.

Borgward BX5 Overview

DESIGN AND EXTERIOR

Versatile design, sporty aesthetics and a powerful persona define the superior and optimistic appearance of the BX5. The diamond-shaped emblem of Borgward suits the octagonal shaped grille beautifully.

It strikes a fine balance between the high standard of design and individuality as it transitions to the interiors. With a driver-centered cabin and fleshed out premium interiors, it comes with spacious interiors.

Performance

Two engine configurations are planned to launch the Borgward BX5: 1.4L, a maximum power of 147.51 HP at 5500rpm and a maximum torque of 250Nm at 1750-4000rpm can be produced, and 2.0L, a max power of 221.26 HP at 5500rpm and a max torque of 300Nm at 1500-4500rpm.

Borgward BX5 Price in Nepal

The BX5 will be introduced in two versions: 1.4L and 2.0hL. In terms of pricing, Nepal's Borgward X5 price is estimated to be Rs. 86.10 Lakhs (1.4L) and Rs. 1.09 Crore (2.0L).

Citroën is a French automobile manufacturer founded in 1919 by the French industrialist André-Gustave Citroën, and part of Groupe PSA since 1976.

Citroen has a large range of passenger vehicles comprising Compact hatchback, MUV, mini-van, and SUV, Shangrila Motors Pvt. Ltd. is going to launch Citroen SUV in 2021.  

Groupe PSA has a long term partnership with the CK Birla Group in India. This partnership includes two joint venture agreements. Under the first agreement, the PSA Group will hold a majority stake in the joint venture for the assembly and distribution of PSA passenger cars in India. And under the second agreement, a 50:50 joint venture is formed between the PSA Group and AVTEC Ltd to manufacture and supply powertrains.

Citroen will manufacture the new cars at the Tiruvallur plant in Tamil Nadu. PSA recently bought the manufacturing plant which was earlier owned by Hindustan Motors.

Abrand new BMW dealership in Kathmandu has been launched by Laxmi Premium Motors, an approved distributor of BMW vehicles in Nepal. Via their official Facebook page, the company made its official unveiling with a virtual launch.

The new venture is said to open deal luxury vehicles in Nepal in cooperation with BMW Asia and BMW Bangladesh. 

BMW Asia Managing Director Christopher Wehner shared his enthusiasm for the official launch of BMW Nepal and congratulated the Laxmi Premium Motors team on opening the BMW Nepal dealership during these tough times.

In every edition of Ford EcoSport, 2021 updates a range of features. This feature now comes with half the EcoSport variant line-up. The SUV now has an improved networking feature in the Titanium trim.

The 2021 Ford EcoSport is now equipped with a titanium trim sunroof, increased accessibility, lower operating costs, and an improved warranty for a sunroof in titanium rim. Half of this function now comes in the EcoSport variable line-up. Ford EcoSport has always been pleased with its enthusiastic driving characteristics but it may have started to appear slightly date with the new series of sub-compact SUVs. In order to deliver more value now, Ford has integrated existing features in each edition of EcoSport in order to offer prospective customers a more value-added offer.

The inclusion of the sunroof on the Titanium Trim is noteworthy among the changes. With that, half of the EcoSport variants now have the immensely popular feature. The company also notes that a range of updates will be received shortly in the Titanium+ edition. EcoSport includes features such as an automatic headlight, mirror, sunscreen, sensing lamps for rain, and a maximum of 6 airbags. The EcoSport has automatic headlights. The S variant gets an 8-inch touch screen that is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. In addition, most versions get a 9" touchscreen infotainment header.

Changes in the exterior or interior design cannot be seen in the SUV substantially. It comes with up to six airbags, standard 8" touchscreen systems, and a 9" infotainment system in several variations that offer maximum safety for occupants. Furthermore, driver assistance features, such as automotive headlamps and electrochromic mirrors, rain-sensing wipers, etc.

The price of Ford Ecosport 1.5L Petrol Titanium M/T is Rs. 44,50,000 and Ecosport 1.5L Petrol Titanium + A/T is Rs 50,90,000.
