The Ford Mustang family has a legendary history and is populated by models with diverse personalities. This year, history is recalled by the revival of the Mach 1 moniker, first seen on the 1969 'Stang. The 2021 Mustang will still come as a coupe or a convertible, and its stable of high-performance offerings will be as full as ever.

Anyone who has spent any time to check out the specs and pictures of the brand-new 2021 Mustang Mach-E electric SUV might have noticed a cool design detail on its touchscreen infotainment system, the volume knob that pokes through the panel. Well, that seems just to be an illusion, as the knob isn't poking through anything at all. 

Ford here seems to have used creativity to turn a troublesome activity into a less difficult yet no less cool solution. The knob in the touchscreen doesn't work mechanically like traditional volume control, rather the knob is attached to the front of the screen and the backside is fitted with a capacitive touch which works for the display below. Basically, the knob is acting as your own human digits. It is a wise and creative approach for saving bucks in a model that needed every dollar development to deliver a competitive electric alternative. 

The 2021 Mach-E starts at $44,995 before any available federal or local incentives in the US; that amount nets 370 KM of range.

The new Performance Edition of the Mustang Mach-E can produce the maximum power of 480 hp and 860 Nm of maximum torque. The new Mustang Mach-E GT Performance Edition delivers more grip and better handling by drawing more power from its battery pack and targets an EPA-estimated range of 378 KM.

Ford claims the Mustang Mach-E GT Performance Edition can sprint from zero to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds, making an already-fast electric pony even quicker.

Ford has come up with an upgraded version of its popular Mustang pony car. The electric version of the car now gets a Performance Edition added to the portfolio, which promises to be both more powerful and speedy.

Besides the performance upgrades, there are several other changes to the new edition of the Mustang Mach-E. It now features 19-inch front brakes with red-painted Brembo calipers as well as 20-inch machined-face Ebony Black-painted pockets paired with 245/45R20 Pirelli summer tires and MagneRide damping that helps to improve handling performance.

Both Mustang Mach-E GT and Mustang Mach-E GT Performance Edition will be available in signature Mustang colors including Cyber Orange Metallic Tri-Coat, Dark Matter Gray Metallic, Rapid Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, Star White Metallic Tri-Coat, Grabber Blue Metallic, Shadow Black, Iconic Silver Metallic, and Space White Metallic.

Mustang Mach-E GT and GT Performance Edition are expected to be available to customers in the second half of 2021.

An official replacement for the Huracan Performant, Lamborghini Huracan STO has recently debuted. The STO in the name stands for Super Trofeo Omologata, which essentially implies that the car is a road-legal version of Squadra Corse's race cars based on the V10 machine. The new Huracan STO is 43 kilograms lighter when compared to the Performance. And that is mainly because has carbon fiber is used for more than 75 percent of the bodywork by Lamborghini. The windscreen alone is 20 percent lighter than that of its predecessor, and the total dry weight of the Huracan STO is a remarkable 1,339 kilograms.

The STO in the name stands for Super Trofeo Omologata, which essentially implies that the Lamborghini Huracan STO is a road-legal race car. Compared to its predecessor, Huracan Performante, the new STO is 43 kilograms lighter.

Pictorially, the Lamborghini HSTO is possibly one of the most radical-looking Huracans yet. The supercar runs on a set of 20-inch magnesium wheels wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza tires which come in road and track configurations. Upfront, the car gets the signature sweptback LED headlamps with the W-shape LED daytime running lamps with orange highlights on the bonnet and front bumper with black diffuser. The hood lid has an air scoop for better cooling. At the back, you have a large spoiler with orange accents, along with sleek LED taillamps, high-mounted dual exhaust pipes, and a rear diffuser. Thanks to the adjustable spoiler the aerodynamic efficiency have increased by 37 percent, and the car has 53 percent more downforce over the Huracan Performante.
