"Hamrobazar CARnival 2022” organiged by Hamrobazar

Hamrobazar is organizing the “ Hamrobazar CARnival 2022  event in the occasion of Dashain Festival which is starting from 23 September (7 Ashwin), at the Annapurna Hotel, Durbarmarg, for three days.

The Carnival will be the Nepal’s first Certified Pre-owned Car Expo. Beside showcasing used/new vehicles, the main goal of this exhibition is to promote the pre-owned automobile industry and enhance the business possibility and branding of the sector.

The CARnival will showcase more than 300 Certified pre- owned cars and new cars from Nepal’s new, premier, and popular automobile brands, such as Henery, Subaru, Ford, Toyota, Tata, Hyundai, Nissan, Volkswagen, and Suzuki which is associated and powered by Henery Mincar , Hulas Fin Sweve Ltd and Insta Finance.

In addition, the show has arranged the entertainment factor including music performances and comedy shows by the renowned artists.

Hamrobazar aims to ensure that the certified used cars it promotes meet two goals: that they are trustworthy buys and that they provide true value for money.

The Certified cars will be offered at more affordable prices, and they will come with some form of guarantee against defects-similar to a new –car warranty.

Moreover, Hamrobazar seeks to  develop the culture arounding buying used cars-such that people fully understand the benefits of buying tested and certified pre-owned cars, instead of investing huge amounts on new ones.

Hyundai Motor India will finally debut its new six/seven-seater SUV, Alcazar, in the country on June 18 after a lengthy delay caused by the second wave of the Covid-19 outbreak.

Bookings for the Hyundai Alcazar have already begun at the automaker's dealerships and online car-buying platform, Click to Buy, for a nominal fee of Rs 25,000.

Features

The Alcazar, based on the hugely popular Creta, exemplifies Hyundai's global design language of 'Sensuous Sportiness.' The grille on the Alcazar has been redesigned. While its headlight configuration is similar to that of the Creta, the fog lamps have been modified slightly. The SUV rides on new 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

It also includes side foot steps. To accommodate the third row of seats, the rear overhang is longer than that of the Creta. To boost the style factor, the LED tail lamps have been restyled, and a twin-tip exhaust has been installed.

The interiors of the Hyundai Alcazar are dual-tone Cognac Brown. A 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, eight-way power-adjustable driver seat, Bose sound system with eight speakers, air purifier with AQI display, 64-color ambient lighting system, and voice-enabled panoramic sunroof are among the notable premium features inside the cabin.

The Alcazar, like other new Hyundai vehicles, will be a connected vehicle featuring Blue Link communication technology. Comfort creatures such as a sliding sunvisor and a rear window sunshade are also available.

Seating 

Customers can choose between a six-seater and a seven-seater arrangement. The Hyundai Alcazar six-seater has captain seats in the middle row, while the seven-seater has a bench seat with a 60:40 split in the middle row. Hyundai claims the Alcazar offers the greatest middle row one-touch tip and tumble chairs in the segment for accessing the third row.

Specifications

The Hyundai Alcazar is available with two engines: a third-generation Nu 2.0-litre petrol and a U2 1.5-litre diesel. The petrol engine generates 159PS of peak power and 191Nm of peak torque, while the diesel engine generates 115PS of peak power and 250Nm of peak torque. Both engines are available with 6-speed MT or 6-speed AT torque converters. The Hyundai Alcazar mpg is said to be the best in the segment for both petrol and diesel engines. The SUV has three drive modes (Comfort, Eco, and Sport) and as many traction control modes as there are traction control modes (snow, sand and mud). The SUV features a segment-leading wheelbase of 2,760mm.

The Hyundai Alcazar will join the Hyundai Venue, Hyundai Creta, Hyundai Tucson, and Hyundai Kona EV in the automaker's SUV lineup. It will compete with the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, and Mahindra XUV500.

Price

The Hyundai Alcazar is expected to be priced in India between Rs 14 lakh and Rs 21 lakh (ex-showroom).

Tata Motors all set to bring the new Tiago EV to light in India

Tata Motors is all set to roll out a new EV-the Tiago EV in India. The EV will be on based on the ICE-powered Tiago and is expected to use the brand’s Ziptron technology.

The new EV will be fourth and the affordable addition to the Nexon, Tigor and XPRES-T.

The company is set to unveil the new Tiago EV on September 28, 2022.

Design and Features:

The Tiago EV will get a similar look to that of the ICE-powered Tiago model.

The EV is contemplated to come with several blue accents and EV badging like they has it on Nexon and Tigor models.

The car might come with notable features such as electrically adjustable ORVMs, automatic temperature control, a smart key with push-button start, ABS, dual airbags, a weather-proof battery pack, height-adjustable driving seats and hill-ascent assist, among other.

Powertrain

Tata hasn’t come out with any information about the battery and specifications about the Tiago EV.

However, the new EV will most probably use the brand’s Ziptron technology that already underpins EVs such as the Nexon EV and the Tigor EV.

The upcoming EV could get the 30kW motor offered on the XPRESSS-T that has ability to produce 105Nm torque.

The car will be powered by a 21.5kWh battery pack that provides a range of 213km.

Also, the new EV could get a more capable battery pack (26kWh lithium ion) that provides an ARAI-certified range of 301km like Tigor EV.

Like other cars of Tata, the Tiago EV is also expected to come in a spit battery-pack variant.

Price in Nepal

The Tiago EV will be Tata’s most affordable vehicle in the EV clan.

The new hatchback is expected to be priced between the commericial-based XPRESS-T EV and the Tigor EV.

The Tiago might cost around Rs. 25 Lakh in Nepal.
