Upcoming Free Fire tournaments in India: Esports premier League 2021

The ESports Premier League 2021 is a national esports event for Indian participants.

The ESPL 2021 competition is an open Free Fire tournament with a prize pool of Rs 25,00,000. The event is organized into four phases, with the first phase reserved for all registered teams. 88 teams qualified from phase 1 will compete in ESPL 2021 phase 2. In phase two, these 88 teams will compete against 8 invited teams to become the ultimate champions.

ESports Premier Competition 2021 is India's first franchise-based Esports league, according to India Today Gaming. The team isn't new to the esports scene. Garena and India Today collaborated in 2019 to deliver the 'Free Fire Battle Royale League,' with a prize pool of Rs. 35,00,000. The victorious team will also have the opportunity to represent India at the 2019 Free Fire World Series in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Free Fire India unveiled their esports strategy for the year 2021 in 2021. They have a number of competitions scheduled for potential Indian esports talents.

Summer Free Fire Pro League India 2021

The Free Fire Pro League India 2021 Summer is a competition for teams from India and Nepal. The Free Fire Pro League India 2021 Summer will serve as a qualifying competition for the Free Fire India Championship 2021, which will take place the following season. The Pro League India League Circuit is set to begin on June 26th, 2021, with the top 12 teams competing in the grand finals on July 18th, 2021.

The FFPL India 2021 summer season is an excellent opportunity for amateur and semi-professional players to begin their esports careers in India. The FFPL 2021 project is broken into three phases:

The FFPL 2021 competition is separated into three stages: FFC Mode Qualifiers, League Circuit, and Finals. The prize money for the Free Fire Pro League India 2021 Summer is Rs 35,00,000. The top six teams from the FFPL India 2021 finals will be invited to compete in the India Championship 2021 Fall.

The FREE FIRE India Championship 2021 Fall FFIC 2021 Fall is one of the marquee events, showcasing the finest teams from India and Nepal. The competition is split into four stages: closed qualification, league circuit, play-ins, and finals. The top 12 teams from the open qualifications and the lowest 6 teams from the Pro League 2021 Summer will be seeded in the closed qualifiers. The top twelve teams will advance to the league circuit phase.

The top 12 teams from the closed qualifiers and the top 6 teams from the Pro League 2021 Summer will be seeded for the league circuit. The 18 teams will be divided into three groups of six. Six teams (two from each group) will advance to the Finals, while the remaining twelve teams will compete in the Play Ins stage.

The top six teams from the league circuit and the Play-ins round will compete in the FFIC 2021 Fall finals. The prize pool for FFIC 2021 Fall is Rs 35,00,000. As with last season, the FFIC 2021 autumn champions will be needed for the following Free Fire World Series.

Rise of Esports in Nepal through PUBG, from PMCO Spring Split to PUBG PRO LEAGUE South Asia 2020

Pubg mobile has taken the world by storm and Nepal is no exception. The main objective of the PUBG game is to survive through looting and killing other players in the virtual world. Everyone from teenagers to adults plays and enjoys this game. With its immense increase in popularity, PUBG gave rise to tournaments being organized with a high prize pool.

THE PUBG JOURNEY SO FAR for Nepal

On 23rd of February PMCO Spring Split 2020, South Asia, the massive PUBG Mobile tournament  was completed were 16 teams from Nepal and Bangladesh were competing against each other (Though teams from Bhutan, Sri Lanka, and Maldives were also part of this region they didn't make it to the finals). The teams were selected through in-game qualifiers and through various stages. The registration was open for all and free of cost. The tournament was won by Team Hype from Nepal which included Gurkhaayt, Prototype, SK49, V3nom, and Daleon.

THE PUBG JOURNEY AHEAD for Nepal

Top 6 teams (5 are from Nepal and 1 from Bangladesh), are invited to participate from this PUBG tournament for the next level of the competition, the Pro League of South Asia region where they will be accompanied by 9 teams from India and last year's top 5 teams from PMCO Fall Split to fight for the spot in the  World League. This makes the total number of teams to 20 which will battle it out for the spot. The PUBG tournament will begin from 12th March and will go on for a month in New Delhi. The PUBG tournament will be LAN based.

As more and more talent is coming out from Nepal, many proper Esports organization will either emerge from Nepal or will come from outside Nepal to get the players and train them for the competition. Though it may take some time for everything to build up the future of Esports in Nepal looks bright.
