Nepal Government decides to resume public transport

As per the Nepal Government’s decision the public vehicle shall resume including rickshaw and taxi services within the district’s territory. However, in Kathmandu, the public vehicles can operate within the 3 districts of the valley.

With this, the Government has directed few rules and regulations such as, only 50% of the seat is to be occupied out of the total seat capacity, physical distance should be maintained, sanitizer should be available at the doors of the public transport, and all the passengers, drivers and handle men should compulsorily wear masks. For taxi, only 3 people can sit in a taxi including the driver. With such rules to be followed, the public transport may hike 50% price of their existing fare.
