Nissan Leaf Test Drive Week Campaign September 13- 20th, 2021

"Nissan Leaf EV is now available for a test drive at Nissan’s showroom in Uttar Dhoka and Thapathali, Kathmandu."

Pioneer Moto Corp, the sole authorized distributor of Nissan and Datsun vehicles in Nepal stated that the company is organizing the ‘Nissan Leaf Test Drive Week’ campaign from 13th September to 20th September 2021.

Nissan Leaf EV is now available for a test drive at Nissan’s showroom in Uttar Dhoka and Thapathali, Kathmandu.

Nissan Leaf is available with a 40-kWh battery that has a range of up to 310 KM on a full charge. The electric motor delivers 150 PS and 320 Nm of instant torque. Similarly, Nissan Leaf can go from zero to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds, while reaching a top speed of 140 km/h.

The Nissan Leaf comes with an e-Pedal technology that allows the driver to start, accelerate, decelerate and stop using only the accelerator pedal. The car will automatically decelerate when the accelerator pedal is released, implying reduced fatigue and provides an enjoyable driving experience. 

You can also avail Spot exchange facility, valuation of old vehicle and financing facility during the test drive week campaign.

The Nissan Leaf is available at an introductory price of NPR 59.99 Lakh in Nepal. LEAF owners have driven more than 14.8 billion clean-air kilometers since 2010.

Nissan Leaf launches in late August, more than 50 bookings a month

"50 bookings have been made for the LEAF electric vehicle which was opened only a month ago, expected to be launch in the last week of August."

Pioneer MotoCorp, the official dealer of Nissan vehicles in Nepal, has unveiled the LEAF EV in the month of July. So far more than 50 bookings have been made for LEAF electric vehicle which was opened only a month ago.

The car is expected to be launch in the last week of August.

The Nissan LEAF has a 40-kWh lithium-ion battery that has a range of up to 311 kilometers on a full charge, based on the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) standards. Powering the Nissan LEAF is a revolutionary, all-electric e-powertrain providing a maximum output of 110kW or 150ps and 320 Nm of instant torque.

The Nissan LEAF can go from zero to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds while reaching a top speed of 140 km/h.

Charging the Nissan LEAF is easy and convenient as owners are provided with multiple charging options. The Nissan LEAF can be fully powered up in 15 to 18 hours at home through a dedicated wall outlet with the supplied universal charging cable.

Owners can also go to quick charging stations found in select Nissan dealerships nationwide and power up their Nissan LEAF to a full charge in as fast as 40 to 60 minutes.

The Nissan LEAF comes with a 3-year vehicle warranty or for the first 100,000 kilometers (whichever comes first) and also with an 8-year battery warranty or for the first 160,000 kilometers (whichever comes first). 

The Nissan LEAF comes in 11 colour options where the customers can choose between six single-tone colour options or five dual-tone colour options.

On the occasion of World EV Day, Nissan organised a virtual session for Nepal, Bhutan and Sri Lanka markets on making electric mobility more accessible in South Asian markets to create a more sustainable green future. 

The availability of an abundant amount of hydropower in Nepal and Bhutan have made both countries a very strong case for EVs, both environmentally and economically. With Nissan’s mission to deliver the right mobility solutions for as many people as possible, the societal and economic benefits of driving more sustainability in South Asian countries could not be understated.

In line with the Nepalese government’s forward-thinking policies on carbon neutrality and support towards electric mobility, Nissan was recently able to launch the zero-emission Nissan LEAF EV in Nepal at a special introductory price of NPR 62.99 lakh to the first 50 customers.

Globally, Nissan LEAF vehicles have driven more than 2.5bn cumulative kilometres since their launch in 2010, resulting in a total amount of real-world usage data: of 1.2m tons of CO2 reduction saved (the equivalent approx. 90m trees).
