The newly appointed Chairman of Civil Bank Ltd, Pratap Jung Pandey has taken the oath from Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari at Nepal Rastra Bank on 6th December 2021.


Similarly, the chairman, Pratap Jung Panda said, "Maintaining the progress being made by the bank and moving forward more vigorously in the coming days we have already started our works to make the bank more digitized and it should be made more effective in the coming days. Also, as the bank is always ready for a respectable merger in the interest of all the stakeholders of the bank, we are open to a merger with other banks or for a respectable merger in the interest of all parties."

Chairman also mentioned that he is hoping for the cooperation and support of all parties in the coming days.

Civil Bank opened its branch in Mahendranagar

"Civil Bank has opened its 115th branch in Mahendranagar, Kanchanpur district."

Civil Bank has opened its 115th branch in Mahendranagar, Kanchanpur district.

The branch was inaugurated by Bhim Dutta Municipality Mayor Surendra Bista. The number of participants in the inauguration ceremony was reduced in view of the recent outbreak of the Covid-19.

According to the bank, 115 branches across Nepal are committed to providing quality services and Civil Bank has been offering higher interest rates than the ones offered in the market in the face of the current global coronavirus epidemic.

The bank has so far provided all banking services and facilities to around 600,000 customers through 115 branches, 10 extension counters, and 86 ATMs, mobilised around Rs 92 billion in deposits, and invested over Rs 85 billion in loans.
