The world-renowned automobile brand and China’s largest passenger vehicle exporter, Chery has officially entered the Nepalese market. 

Chery Automobile Co. Ltd has signed an agreement with SPG Automobiles as its authorized distributor for Nepal. 

A virtual Signing Ceremony event held on the 12th of Aug 2021.

Chery is China's largest passenger vehicle exporter since 2003 and the much-anticipated brand has finally made its way into the automobile sector of Nepal and is looking to make its mark in the Nepalese Automobile Industry.

During the event, Zhang Guibing - President of Chery International said "We are confident that the co-operation between the two sides will make an impact in the local market and help in the development of the Nepali automobile sector. Following the long-term business strategy in Nepal, Chery will help create a competitive environment through innovative products and guide the market demand."

Chery has been China’s largest passenger vehicle exporter for 15 consecutive years and exported a total of more than 1.3 million units to over 80 countries and regions.  

Chery has been honored as “the Most Popular Chinese Auto Brand” in Russia three times. Meanwhile, Chery has won “The Best Overseas Image” among “Top 20 Best Overseas Images of Chinese Enterprises” and ranked first in the equipment manufacturing category for two consecutive years.

The world-famous Automobile brand Chery is coming to Nepal & has appointed SPG Automobiles Pvt. Ltd, a  company under Sharda Group Umbrella as its authorized distributor for Nepal.

According to Company sources, they are expected to commence operations soon.

The company informed that their official distributor, SPG Automobiles Pvt. Ltd., has a long experience in the automotive business in Nepal. The company is confident that the co-operation between the two sides will make an impact in the local market and help in the development of the Nepali automobile sector.

Following the long-term business strategy in Nepal, Chery International will help create a competitive environment through innovative products and guide the market demand. 

Chery Automobile Co. Ltd was founded on January 08, 1997, at present, Chery has an annual production capacity of 900,000 cars, engines, and 400,000 transmissions. Chery's products cover passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, and minivans.

Chery has several vehicle assemblies and component manufacturing facilities in mainland China, and its vehicles are assembled in around 15 other countries, around the globe.

Currently, there are more than 20 models of Chery available on the international market, and in addition, dozens more will be released successively.
