On its newly released smartphone, OPPO A12 3 GB, the technology brand OPPO has declared a reduced price. Originally priced at Rs. 18,590, the handset is now available throughout Nepal at Rs. 17,590. It sells in 2 color variants, including Blue and Black, in the region. It has a thickness of 8.3mm and weighs 165 grams.

Speaking of the OPPO A12 display, it is a 6.22-inch display with a 720 x 1520 pixel resolution. This indicates the screen's pixel density is at 270 PPI. With a 19:9 aspect ratio, it is an IPS panel. The device's screen-to-body ratio is 89%. The monitor has a Corning Gorilla Glass 3, Capacitive, Multi-touch, In-cell, 2.5D curved glass screen.

Camera

With festive season getting near, Oppo has unveiled two new mid-range smartphone targeting this dashain and tihar. The devices launched are the Oppo A9 2020 and the toned-down version the Oppo A5 2020.

 

Oppo A9 2020

Newly launched A9 2020 is a mid-range phone featuring a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD display  with the resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and aspect ratio of 19.5:9. powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor bundled  with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The device also comes with a massive 5000mAh battery with fast charging support and reverse charge.

On back of the phone, quad camera setup resides main sensor being a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor which is accompanied by 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front 16MP front camera lives inside a water drop shaped notch.

Oppo A5 2020 features the same 6.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD display  with the resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and powered by same Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor. This is where the similarities end. Oppo A5 2020 comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

A5 2020 also has quad camera on its back but the primary senosr is a 12MP camera which is accompanied by 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front a 8MP camera resides inside the notch of the display.

Oppo A5 also comes with a massive 5000mAh battery  with only reverse charge feature. Other key features includes stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos sound, rear-facing fingerprint sensor and runs on Android 9.0 with ColorOS 6.0 on top. The phone is priced at NPR. 27,990.
