Starting with the design Realme 5 Pro has a Gorilla Glass 3+ Glass on the front, plastic back and plastic frame and features an IPS LCD screen of 6.3 inches with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 ratio and pixel count of ~409 PPI. The display also features a waterdrop style notch housing a 16 MP, f/2.0 selfie camera.  On the back, there is a quad-camera setup:  48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor, 8MP 119° ultra-wide-angle lens, 2MP macro sensor, 2MP depth sensor accompanied by an LED flash.  The back of the phone also features a fingerprint scanner.

Powering the device is a Qualcomm SDM712 Snapdragon 712  bundled with 4/6/8GB of RAM and  64/128GB of internal storage expandable up to  256 GB through the microSD card. The phone runs on Android 9.0 (Pie), planned upgrade to Android 10.0; ColorOS 6 and comes with 4035 mAh battery which can be charged through a USB Type-C port and supports fast battery charging 20W. Additional features of the phone include all the necessary sensors such as accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass as well as  4G support,and 3.5mm audio jack.
