Efficient house cleaning tips

"Everyone hates to clean but everyone loves a clean house. Cleaning is often taken for granted, and people just plunge into it without a plan."

Everyone hates to clean but everyone loves a clean house. Cleaning is often taken for granted, and people just plunge into it without a plan.

This usually leads to frustration, because you may end up making an even greater mess. But Here are some useful tips that can boost your house-cleaning efficiency:

Clear the clutter

Before you even start cleaning, go from room to room, and pick up the clutter. This way, when you get down to business, you won’t have to stop reorganizing your belongings.

Focus on tubs, sinks, and toilets

Spray cleaner on the kitchen sink than on bathroom sinks, tubs, and toilets. Let it sit for a few minutes so the cleaner has time to dissolve dirt and stains.

Then return to the kitchen and start scrubbing. Don’t forget to wipe down the inside of the microwave.

Clean toilets last. While in the kitchen, you also want to make sure your garbage disposal is in tip-top shape

Clean in the same direction

When cleaning with a cleaning solution, make sure to move in the same direction consistently.

For instance, if you start to clean by following a left to right movement, you shouldn’t switch to circular movements halfway through.

This could leave undesirable traces on the entire surface.

You should avoid cleaning in circles, in general, to avoid spreading the dirt from the areas you’ve previously addressed.

Keep your favorites cleaning products handy

Keep your favorite cleaning products handy so that you don’t need to go back and forth all the time to look for misplaced cleaning supplies.

You can store everything in a caddy or bucket, and move it around as you go.

Learn to multitask

For instance, while the product is soaking and doing its job in the toilet bowl, you can wipe the bathroom mirror, or rearrange your cosmetics.

Start using baking soda and vinegar

Not only are these products cheap and eco-friendly but they are also marvelous for hardened grease.

They can be used for deep cleaning your favorite kitchen appliances, such as dishwashers, ovens, fridges, to name just a few.

This combo is also great for your beloved stainless steel as it can render it smudge-free effortlessly.

Basic needs for your house plant

29th November 2021
"The best house plants are those with attractiveness and ease of maintenance, as well as being able to grow successfully."

The best house plants are those with attractiveness and ease of maintenance, as well as being able to grow successfully. With a little bit of tender loving care, houseplants can become a pleasure instead of a mystery.

So here’s a basic need you should follow to make your house plant healthier:

Light:

Indoor houseplant care requires a lot of Light. To ensure that your houseplant gets the right amount of highlight, make sure that the plant is visible in the right place where it gets light.

Houseplants require high, medium, or low Light. Additional Light is needed for houseplants, whether direct (bright) Light or indirect Light.

Water:

It is essential to provide water to houseplants when they are growing. The general rule of thumb is to only water a houseplant when the soil feels dry on top.

Watering a houseplant this way is recommended for most indoor plants. However, a few houseplants, mostly succulents & cacti, require only occasional watering, while others require constant watering.

Fertilizer:

Fertilizer in terms of houseplant maintenance, there are two types of fertilizers available. The first is through water, and the second is through slow-release fertilizer.

Choosing which method is best for you is a personal preference. Each works well. For water fertilization, you will add a water-soluble fertilizer to the plant's water about once a month in warm weather and once every two months in cooler weather.

Humidity:

Most plants thrive in high humidity; plants like ferns demand it. Unfortunately, our homes are usually very dry compared to the outside air.

To combat this problem, place a tray or saucer under your houseplants and fill it with pebbles. Add water until it’s just below the top of the pebbles.

As the water evaporates, it will increase the humidity level around the plant. Misting your plants daily is also very good.

Cleaning:

Taking off dead and dying leaves and cutting brown tips off of leaves will help your plant stay nice looking. The farther back you cut your plant, the fuller it will become.

Plants breathe through their leaves, so keep them dust-free. This means wiping the leaves off with a damp rag or setting the whole plant in the shower.

Just be careful that the shower spray doesn’t dislodge and wash away the potting soil.
