Huawei Mate series three models officially entered the network of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, including the Mate 40 standard version codenamed Ocean, model OCE-AN00; Mate 40 Pro codenamed Noah, model NOH-AN00; Mate 40 Pro+ model is NOP-AN00.

All three new models support NSA/SA dual-mode 5G networking and run Android, which is expected to be the latest version of EMUI 11 and EMUI 10.

According to the latest scoop, the Huawei Mate 40 series has a dual-curved screen form factor (90Hz refresh rate), with the Pro version having a larger curvature and close to a waterfall screen design, as well as a double cutout in the top left corner of the screen.

According to inside sources, Huawei is going to introduce a revolutionary new laptop on August 19. The revolutionary part is the display. It will feature 3K resolution and razor-thin bezels.

And by razor-thin bezels, we really do mean razor-thin. The report claims that Huawei is calling it "floating full-screen" design without any bezels. It would break the constraints of the physical frame and offer immersive and clear visuals.

And as for Honor, the same source points at a new MagicBook SE targeted at office users and students who are looking for something on a budget. However, the MagicBook SE won't be announced on the same event and will eventually be revealed during a separate event in the near future.

Few days back we got to know, Huawei is working on a smartwatch named “STIA” that will be launched as the Huawei Watch Fit. Today the Watch Fit has surfaced online completely with its specs, price, and images.

The Huawei Watch Fit features a tall display measuring 1.64" diagonally. It's an AMOLED panel of 456x280-pixel resolution, and there will be ambient light sensors as well to control screen brightness automatically.

The Watch Fit is a 5ATM water resistant up to 10 days of battery endurance. The smartwatch is compatible with Android 5.0+ and iOS 9.0+ devices and have a GPS, Accelerometer, and Barometer on board.

The Watch Fit also has features like heart rate sensor, located on the back, along with sleep recording and activity tracking. The source claims it will be able to track walking, running, swimming as well as indoor and outdoor cycling. The smartwatch contains stress tests and breathing exercises.

The smartwatch has a pill-shaped physical button on the right side with a hole up top, which might be for the microphone.

The source says that Watch Fit will launch in September with a price tag of €119, meaning we may see it go official at IFA 2020 in Berlin, Germany.

Huawei has ranked 49th on the Fortune Global 500 list in 2020. This is the first time that the telecommunications giant breaks into the top 50, continuing a multi-year track record of acceleration.

“Huawei’s net profit rose 5.6% in 2019, and revenue grew a further 13.1% year-on-year in the first half of 2020, despite the company’s persistent geopolitical entanglements,” said the Fortune report. 

Earlier this year, Huawei has ranked No. 6 in Boston Consulting Group’s list of the 50 Most Innovative Companies in 2020, moved up by 42 places than last year, which was the highest-ranking for the tech giant since it first made the list in 2012.

The Fortune 500 list ranks companies according to their revenue and profit, focusing on the size of the companies compared with other lists. The Fortune 500 rankings have become an important indicator that renowned companies use to measure their own strengths, size, and international competitiveness, a parameter of the global economy that transcends beyond borders, nationality, and cultural differences.

In the global fight against Covid-19, HUAWEI doubled down innovation efforts and launched the Anti-COVID-19 Partner Program focused on enhancing AI, remote office, smart healthcare, and online education.

“The complex external environment makes open collaboration and trust in global value chains more important than ever. Huawei has promised to continue fulfilling its obligations to customers and suppliers, and to survive, forge ahead, and contribute to the global digital economy and technological development,” said Huawei when announcing its 2020 H1 business results in July.

In the top five global companies as ranked by Forbes, three are Chinese, one from the US while one is Anglo-Dutch. Retail major Walmart from the US tops the 2020 list followed by three Chinese companies: China state-owned petroleum and chemical giant Sinopec Group, China’s state-owned power company State Grid, and China National Petroleum Corp (CNPC). The Anglo-Dutch oil and gas multinational Royal Dutch Shell was fifth on the Fortune magazine’s 2020 list.

Huawei in Nepal
