Honda has unveiled the all-new Honda N7X concept car in Indonesia. As a replacement for the BR-V SUV, a three-row SUV based on the N7X concept is expected to be introduced. The concept appears to be production-ready, as it is outfitted with production body panels.

The Honda N7X-based 7-seater SUV will compete with the Toyota Rush and Mitsubishi Xpander Cross. The new concept features a familiar Honda design, as seen on recent Honda vehicles such as the new City, new-generation Honda HR-V, and the larger CR-V SUV.

The Honda N7X concept features a rugged front fascia, upright stance, and clamshell bonnet. It has a chrome-laden multi-slat grille and slim wraparound headlamps. The new City sedan inspired the design of the headlamps as well. The grille features a large, prominent Honda badge in the center. There is a dual-LED DRL setup, with one above the headlamp and the other lower on the bumper. The lower bumper features a large air dam, a faux skid plate, and brushed aluminum inserts.

The new Honda N7X Concept's side profile features a large glasshouse and a strong beltline that runs above the glass area. Starting from the waist, there is a strong beltline that runs the length of the dress.

A strong beltline runs across the length, beginning at the headlamp and ending at the taillamps. The SUV has round wheel arches with black plastic cladding on the borders, giving it a tough appearance. At the rear, the SUV gets horizontally placed wrap-around taillamps with signature LED elements similar to the City sedan.

The interior of the N7X Concept has not been revealed by Honda, but it is expected to share the cabin layout and features with the new City. The SUV is expected to have a simple dashboard with a touchscreen in the center. The SUV will be available in 6- and 7-seat configurations. While the former will have captain seats in the second row, the latter will be a 7-seater SUV.

The new Honda N7X is based on the City sedan's latest generation. It will be powered by a 1.5-liter petrol engine capable of producing 121bhp and 145Nm of torque. A 6-speed manual and a CVT automatic transmission will be available. The new 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine, which also powers the City RS in some Asian markets, could also be added. This engine has a power output of 121bhp and a torque output of 175Nm.

LAUNCH OF THE HONDA N7X IN INDIA?

Honda will first introduce the N7X SUV in Indonesia, where it will compete with the Toyota Rush and the Mitsubishi Xpander. The SUV will take the place of the aging BR-V SUV. Honda has already pulled the BR-V and Mobilio models from the Indian market. A 7-seater SUV could be a good option for Honda, as SUV demand is increasing.

Honda has unveiled the Honda N7X Concept SUV, a new 7-seater SUV concept. Honda's newest 7-seater SUV for South Asian markets will be this concept SUV.

The N7X concept is rumored to be the successor to the Honda BR-V, which was previously available in a number of markets, including India. "At the moment, this concept car does not refer to a specific model. At the moment, we are not discussing this concept in relation to the Mobilio, BR-V, or other models. Honda may consider bringing the N7X SUV to India, as compact three-row seven-seater SUVs are the new segment cultured by carmakers here. Honda currently has no vehicles in this category. It has only one SUV model in the country, the WR-V. If Honda decides to bring the N7X SUV to India, it will compete with the likes of the Hyundai Alcazar and the Tata Safari, among others.

The N7X Concept, which was introduced in Indonesia, is the result of several Honda studies in which the advantages of minivans and SUVs are combined, including the capacity for seven passengers. Its exterior design is similar to that of other models from the brand, such as the City HB and the new HR-V.

The concept has LED headlights and stops, underbody guards, and a straight-lined design. In order to improve lighting and access to the cabin, there are also large windows and wide doors. At the back, the N7X has thinner and sharper headlights, as well as LED graphics resembling a Honda City sedan. The tailgate doors are also simpler and neater—no more reflector bars connecting the two lights and a flatter surface, while the plate number housing remains underneath.

There are no photos of the interior, but Honda claims that comfort and space were important factors in its development.
Honda has not provided any specifics about the engine or technology that will be used in this SUV. According to reports, the SUV will be powered by a 1.5-litre engine and will only have front-wheel drive.

"The N7X is, in fact, a concept car, and we are unable to provide more information about the mass production plan. The N7X, on the other hand, was created as a Honda concept car for seven passengers. And, once again, because this car is the world premiere in Indonesia and research is being conducted in Indonesia, there is a strong possibility that it will be mass-produced in Indonesia.
