The construction of an all-new Borgward 3S center in Balaju, Kathmandu has begun. The new 3S center, which will house a showroom of 4000 sq ft, a parking area of 5000 sq ft and a service area of 4500 sq ft, is expected to be completed by March 2021.

Last April, the German automotive brand Borgward officially announced the start of its cooperation with Valley Motor Group as an official importer and distributor of Borgward cars on the Nepalese market. The BX5 premium compact SUV's first batch has already arrived in the capital.

Two engine options are available for the BX5: a 1.4-litre  and a 2.0-litre. A six-speed automatic transmission is connected to both engines. The 2.0-litre is available as an all-wheel-drive option, while the smaller 1.4-litre engine is offered with a front-wheel drivetrain.

In 2017, the BX5 was awarded the Prestigious Red Dot Design, comes with wide range of comfort and convenience features such as the B-Link Smart Communication System and a centrally located 8.0-inch touchscreen system.

The BX5 comes fitted with many features depending on the trim level, such as , rear-vent dual-zone air-con system, automatic halogen headlamps, LED DRLs, keyless entry, LED taillights, keyless entry, a 4.2-inch instrument cluster display, cruise control, an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system, puddle-lamp power-folding side mirror and front parking sensors. The likes of the Jeep Compass, Volkswagen Tiguan, Kia Sportage, and so on will rival this luxury compact SUV.

Abrand new BMW dealership in Kathmandu has been launched by Laxmi Premium Motors, an approved distributor of BMW vehicles in Nepal. Via their official Facebook page, the company made its official unveiling with a virtual launch.

The new venture is said to open deal luxury vehicles in Nepal in cooperation with BMW Asia and BMW Bangladesh. 

BMW Asia Managing Director Christopher Wehner shared his enthusiasm for the official launch of BMW Nepal and congratulated the Laxmi Premium Motors team on opening the BMW Nepal dealership during these tough times.

Sadly, no pricing or vehicle launch data about the upcoming BMW cars in Nepal was presented in the virtual launch. That being said, on the BMW Nepal website, the upcoming models are already listed.

In every edition of Ford EcoSport, 2021 updates a range of features. This feature now comes with half the EcoSport variant line-up. The SUV now has an improved networking feature in the Titanium trim.

The 2021 Ford EcoSport is now equipped with a titanium trim sunroof, increased accessibility, lower operating costs, and an improved warranty for a sunroof in titanium rim. Half of this function now comes in the EcoSport variable line-up. Ford EcoSport has always been pleased with its enthusiastic driving characteristics but it may have started to appear slightly date with the new series of sub-compact SUVs. In order to deliver more value now, Ford has integrated existing features in each edition of EcoSport in order to offer prospective customers a more value-added offer.

The inclusion of the sunroof on the Titanium Trim is noteworthy among the changes. With that, half of the EcoSport variants now have the immensely popular feature. The company also notes that a range of updates will be received shortly in the Titanium+ edition. EcoSport includes features such as an automatic headlight, mirror, sunscreen, sensing lamps for rain, and a maximum of 6 airbags. The EcoSport has automatic headlights. The S variant gets an 8-inch touch screen that is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. In addition, most versions get a 9" touchscreen infotainment header.

Changes in the exterior or interior design cannot be seen in the SUV substantially. It comes with up to six airbags, standard 8" touchscreen systems, and a 9" infotainment system in several variations that offer maximum safety for occupants. Furthermore, driver assistance features, such as automotive headlamps and electrochromic mirrors, rain-sensing wipers, etc.
