Dish Home Network Ltd and Himalmedia Pvt Ltd have agreed to collaborate in the production and distribution of television programming, and an agreement to this effect was signed between Chair of Dish Media Hem Raj Dhakal and Himalmedia Publisher Kanak Mani Dixit under which audio-visual production of Himalmedia will be aired via Dish Media’s platform.

Dish Media’s Chair Dhakal said, “We have entered into this agreement with Himalmedia in line with our policy of progressively increasing nationally produced television content. We decide to go with Himal because of the proven capability of its newsroom in research, analysis, and presentation on current affairs.”

Dhakal expressed the hope that the programming to emerge from this collaboration would raise the level of nationally-produced audio-visual presentation available to the public.
