For the past six months, the country is facing a difficult and stressful time because of the Covid-19 pandemic. The Internet & TV is the only place which is not quarantined for quarantined consumers.
As the IPL Twenty20 Cricket League, 2020 has to lift off, the company envisions an opportunity to connect with the country’s millions of cricket-mad fans digitally to drive interaction with DishHome and build its follower base. The campaign for the IPL is titled ‘DishHome 2020 को मज्जा’.
Taking this as a campaign theme, DishHome has come up with its digital activation idea using the hashtag #DH2020को मज्जा for all its viewers. HD entertainment is what DishHome wants its viewers to have during the pandemic. It is a powerful concept and the brand has tried to bring alive the same passion and excitement as viewers would see during the live match.
The main idea behind the campaign strategy was to make the rest of 2020 truly exciting and joyful. Digital Activation targeting passionate cricket fans on Facebook & YouTube is being conducted. Various dynamic posts that feature cricket related sweepstakes, videos, and match highlights will be posted every day. Each design and color mirrors the excitement of the match viewers.
