On the International Music Day, DishHome is launching its new music show- THE STRINGS, a retro English singing competition digital series created by DishHome. The all-new competition seek to discover the finest talents across the country and help them grow on the stem of their musical abilities and scale their fullest potentials through 3 rounds digitally. Only English songs (soft numbers) related to late 70s, 80s & 90s are preferred in the series.
At the time when the country is under lockdown, DishHome shall conduct the competition and determine the winners by The Strings jury’s critique, Internet, Facebook and SMS text voting by the viewers. A few of the videos will be aired on DishHome’s Reality Channel. The reality show will begin from June 21st, 2020 and audition round will be for one month.
The competition is open for auditions for all. To participate in the competition, all you need to do is to pick up the video recording equipment, record the video of singing and share a 1-2 minute video on DishHome’s Facebook Page. Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of digital audition & jury’s critique. The strings employs a panel of vocal judges who will critique contestant’s performance.
Talking about the prizes, candidates will have 3 positions to be rewarded- Winner (100K NPR, Smart TV & 2N/3D stay at Hotel Rainforest, Sauraha, Chitwan), 1st Runner Up (50K NPR & 2N/3D stay at Hotel Parkland, Sauraha, Chitwan) and 2nd Runner Up (25K NPR & stay at Jungle Resort, Dhulikhel). Along with the cash prize & Hotel Packages, free connection of DishHome for a year and other exciting gift hampers will also be awarded to the winners.
THE STRINGS is bringing back the essence of retro vibe in the present time.
