Jagadamba Motors, Nepal's official dealer of TVS two-wheelers, has introduced a new Apache RTR 160 4V. The event also included a live musical performance by Cobweb, a prominent Nepali band.
The design and mechanics of the new bike remain virtually unchanged, but it now has a BS-VI-compliant engine and three riding modes: Sport, Urban, and Rain.
Design:
The bike comes with a digital racing console–integrated with the SmartXConnect system with Bluetooth connectivity–that displays a speedometer, tachometer, gear indicator, fuel-warning indicator, low-battery indicator, clock, and trip-meter count.
Engine
The Apache RTR 160 4V RTFI is equipped with Race-Tuned Fuel Injection (RT-FI) technology with BS-VI compliant engine that helps in better fuel economy, enhanced power delivery, improved engine durability, and better emissions control.
The motorcycle produces 17.55 PS power @ 9250rpm in Sports mode and 15.64PS power @ 8600rpm in Urban and Rain modes.
Similarly, it produces 14.73Nm torque @ 7250rpm and 14.14Nm torque @ 7250 rpm in Urban and Rain mode.
Performance
The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V RTFI comes loaded with several first and best-in-class features such as three ride modes (Rain, Urban, and Sport), making it easier for riders to adapt to any riding conditions.
The ride modes optimize the power and ABS setting to adapt to any riding conditions.
Moreover, It also houses TVS’ proprietary SmartXConnect Bluetooth connectivity system that displays multiple information regarding the ride and connects to the rider’s smartphone through Bluetooth.
The motorcycle also gets a single-channel super-moto ABS.

The all-new Apache RTR 160 4V (BS-VI compliant) comes in three color options: Racing Red, Metallic Blue, and Knight Black–at a starting price of Rs 3,79,900.
