A new Hero Glamour model has been released in Nepal with new security features. By introducing the IBS braking system to the new glamour, the company has begun sales.

The official dealer for Hero MotoCorp in Nepal, NGA Hero, has declared that the selling of the new motorcycle will commence next Friday.

With a power of 124.7cc, the latest Glamour has an air-cooled FI engine. 11.4bh of power and 11 Nm of torque are produced by this motor.

This motorcycle promises to provide a mileage of 60 km per liter.

Nepal Police has launched its first-ever ‘Nepal Police’ mobile app in Kaski. It is a pilot project launched with the objective of regulating the work of Nepal Police as a technology-friendly service. 

The app has already been made public at a press conference via video conference amidst the pandemic. The app was launched by Office Chief Superintendent of Police, Jeevan Kumar Shrestha.

The app aims to maintain overall peace and security in the district and allows the public to inform the police about incidents and crimes from their residence or the crime scene quickly; and, helps to prevent further damage and to stop the crimes immediately. There are provisions to report the police about domestic violence, looting, theft, death, car accident, fraud, sexual offences, drugs, missing persons, weapons and explosives. 

The ‘Nepal Police’ app is in Google Play Store and is supported by both Android and iPhone. The main features of this app are- Panic Mode (BETA) that allows the operations department to respond promptly in case of emergency situations, Emergency Numbers, Police Stations Nearby, Report Incident, News, Guidelines and FM (Metro Traffic FM 95.5.).
