Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 is an economical Bajaj cruiser that provides a pleasant trip. The riding posture is very relaxed, straight, and also very easy to manage. The vehicle's highway-grip is exceptional, and disc-brakes offer extra brownie points to protection on this ride.
Avenger Cruise 220 Specifications
The Avenger Cruise 220 is powered by a 220cc air-cooled engine having a single-cylinder with 2-valve per cylinder. With a maximum power output of 19.03 PS @ 8500 rpm and a supreme torque output of 17.55 Nm @ 7000 rpm, it can reach a top speed of 120km/h. The engine is coupled to a 5-speed gearbox. The double-barrel exhaust gives a sound just mellifluous. The Avenger Cruise 220 can hasten from 0 to 60km/h in just 5 seconds.
Avenger Cruise 220 Design
The styling signs remain unchanged and the Avenger Cruise 220 BS6 also features a traditional cruiser motorcycle style with a low-slung saddle, rear-swept handlebar, front windscreen, and long wheelbase. The 3D design, polish treatment on different materials, and wire-spoke wheels give a luxury touch to the overall collection.
The BS6 model design also remains identical to that of a BS4 motorcycle. Shock absorbing tasks are performed by telescopic forks in front with the dual anti-friction bush and double springs at the back adjustable in five steps.
Avenger Cruise 220 Competitors
The Avenger Street 160 engine produces 15 PS and 13.7 Nm. By comparison, Avenger Cruise 220's power and torque stand at 19.03 PS and 17.55 Nm respectively. Bajaj sells 2 colors Avenger Street 160 and the Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 also comes in 2 colors. The major difference in Cruise 220 and Street 220 are in their looks and maneuvering. The street has a smooth handlebar and has more experience handling pedestrian traffic. Avenger Cruise on the other hand provides a better impression of 'cruiser like' performance. Also, the pillion seat on the street is not comfortable because it has no backrest.
Royal Enfield Bullet 350
The reported Royal Enfield Bullet 350 mileage is 40.8 kmpl while the Avenger Cruise 220 mileage is 40 kmpl. Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is powered by the same 346 cc engine delivering 20.07 PS @ 5250 rpm power and 28 Nm @ 4000 rpm torque. This engine is coupled to the transmission of 5-gear speeds. The Avenger Cruise 220cc motor has slightly smaller numbers on display. It is 19.03 HP @ 8500 rpm of power for the fuel-injected models. Torque at 17.55 Nm @ 7000 rpm is way low than Royal Enfield Bullet 350. Avenger Cruise 220 is coupled to 5-gear speed transmission.
