American automaker Ford is launched its Endeavour Sport SUV in India. The premium vehicle is already up for grabs in some countries like Australia, where it is marketed as the Everest Sport.

As for the highlights, the car will have an eye-catching design, a host of new technologies, and will draw power from a BS6-compliant 2.0-liter EcoBlue diesel engine. The primary highlight of Ford Endeavour Sport is the number of visual upgrades which seek to use the black hue to add to the menacing appeal of the vehicle. Therefore, in come new black smoked headlamps, ebony black front grille, black roof rails, new black alloys, and special SPORT decals on doors and tailgate.

Exteriors

The Ford Endeavour Sport will have a sporty look, featuring a blacked-out grille, front, rear bumpers, a muscular bonnet with sculpted lines, and LED headlamps with DRLs.On the sides, the SUV will be flanked by blacked-out roof rails, B-pillars, ORVMs, side-steppers, and designer alloy wheels. It should have a wheelbase of 2,850mm, and a length of 4,903mm.

Power and performance

The Ford Endeavour Sport will draw power from a BS6-compliant 2.0-liter EcoBlue diesel engine that makes 168hp of maximum power and a peak torque of 420Nm. Transmission duties will be handled by a 10-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.

Interiors

The Ford Endeavour Sport should have a 7-seater cabin, featuring black upholstery with contrast stitching, adjustable leather seats, and a multifunctional power steering wheel. The SUV will pack an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It will offer features like pedestrian detection, traffic sign recognition, and lane-keeping assistance for the safety of the passengers.

Ford has padded up its Endeavour with a number of design upgrades and on Tuesday, officially launched Endeavour Sport at INR 35,00,000. It may be soon available in Nepal. Ford Endeavour BS-6 TITANIUM A/T & TITANIUM Plus A/T variants are available in Nepal with prices starts 1,65,00,000 onwards.

Ford Adventure Club is organizing an Off-Road Drive to Manang & Tilicho Lake Trek from 27th March 2020 to 3rd April 2020.

Ford had a trip to Lo Manthang previously and this time, they are going to show their off-roading skill in the road to Manang. There are motorable roads as well as trails where goods are transported on jeep or mule trains or carried by porters. From Manang, they are also planning a Tilicho Lake Trek which is 19.7 km in distance.

Itinerary for Manang tour & Tilicho Lake Trek:

27th March - Drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar

28th March - Drive from Besisahar to Bharthang

29th March - Drive to Manang

30th March - Hike to Tilicho Base Camp

31st March - Trek to Tilicho Lake

1st April - Drive back to Manang

2nd April - Overnight stay at Besisahar

3rd April - Drive from Besisahar to Kathmandu

Manang Trip and Tilicho Lake Trek Cost Includes:

The Kia Sonet, unveiled for the first time ever, previews a future global compact SUV from the brand. The concept will be developed further ahead of a launch in the Indian market in the second half of 2020.

The Kia Sonet concept, revealed for the first time today, previews the third product offering from Kia Motors in India. Targeted at a demographic that is always connected to the world in more ways than one, the Kia Sonet is designed to exceed customers’ lifestyle and technology expectations.

With a modern, dynamic and bold design, the Kia Sonet is equipped with several first-in-class features. These include head-turning looks, Kia’s signature ‘tiger-nose’ grille, stepwell geometry within the grille mesh, ‘tiger-eyeliner’ daytime running lights, and wide rear signature lighting.

Two global sales crowns for Ford Mustang

Ford Mustang sold 102,090 units, according to the most recent new vehicle registration data from IHS Markit, making it the best-selling sports car in the world in 2019. During this period, Mustang sales in Germany increased by 33 percent, in Poland sales rose by nearly 50 percent, and in France, they nearly doubled.

The year 2019 also marks the fifth consecutive year that Mustang was the best-selling sports coupe in the world. Sports coupes, as defined by IHS Markit, include two-door and convertible models.

With up to 12 enthusiast models available globally, Ford offers customers a new golden age of Mustang performance. These Mustang variants include EcoBoost® and GT models each with two Performance Pack options, Mustang BULLITT, Mustang Shelby® GT350 and available Handling Pack, Shelby GT350R, plus Shelby GT500 with Handling Pack and Carbon Fiber Track Pack options.
