One Can Apply For A Driving License Only Once From Single Device

The Department of Transportation has brought a new arrangement to end the bigotry of middlemen in online application.

The department has brought a new arrangement saying that there is a problem when ordinary service recipients try to apply online as the middlemen take money from the customers and upload several forms at once.

According to the department, with the implementation of this policy, it will be possible to apply for a license only once a day from a computer, laptop or mobile.

Information Officer of the department Dr.  According to Loknath Bhusal, it is estimated that more than 900,000 service recipients who are currently unable to get licenses due to lockdown are preparing to apply for licenses online. According to Gagan Bahadur Hamal, director general of the department, such arrangements have to be made as brokers have been applying for licenses online for a long time. He said that the move was taken after a complaint was lodged with the department saying that there was a problem in the server as the middleman was loading many applications on the website at the same time.

Quota in Driving License as online registration resumes

In Nepal, the online driving license registration has re-opened. Online forms can be registered at any time, according to the Department of Transport Management.



 

The department said the quota per day is set at 5500. Based on biometric data, the department will have Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday quotas. The form can only be registered if a quota is open. Maximum one-week quota allocation.

During the filling up the form Mobile number fields and Category are mandatory and non-editable. Re-registration,after the expiry of the Transport Management Office visit appointment date, will only be permitted after 15 days. It will be allowed only after 90 days in the case of exam failure.
