Pure EV Etrance Neo now in Nepal - Reviews

Pure EV's new scooter - Etrance Neo has started selling in the Nepalese market. White Lotus Motors, the official distributor of Pure EV, has introduced the Pure ETRANCE NEO model in Nepal.

The Indian electric scooter Pure EV’s scooter entered the Nepali market a few years ago. Pure EV is claimed to be very reliable as it is a business produced and founded by IIT Hyderabad and manufacturers scooters and lithium batteries.

They have been accredited by ARAI of India, these scooters are said to be durable and dependable.

The company has recently unveiled the ETRANCE NEO with a 22 kW peak BLDC motor. It has a 2.5 kWh portable lithium-ion battery pack. It offers a range of 116 kilometers on a single full charge. The top speed of Entrance Neo is 60 kilometers per hour.

It also has a 'regenerative charging system' that will recharge the battery when the brakes are applied.

The scooter has disc brakes on the front and drum brakes on the rear. It has a 4-inch LED display. Similarly, The scooter also has an anti-theft locking system.

Genius electric motorcycles and TAILG electric scooters launch in Nepal

Genius Motorcycles, a fresh entrant electric motorcycle, and scooter company started to be around in the Nepalese market by debuting in the Nada Auto Show 2019. From the looks of the Genius electric bike and scooters, they look promising.

During a function in the Kathmandu yesterday, Mahabir Pun Teacher, Social Entrepreneur and Kulman Ghising Managing Director of the Nepal Electricity Authority jointly cut the ribbon and announced the official sale of Genius brand electric motorcycles and TAILG brand electric scooters.

These motorcycles and scooters have been brought to Nepal by Yoma Ma E Motors. The company has its showroom in Narayanchaur, Naxal, Kathmandu.

The company has unveiled two scooters of TAILG brand named Lion and Tiger. The company has stated that most of the features are similar in both these scooters.

TALGI Scooter Specs and features

TALGI Lion has a 2.5 kW motor and a 1.9 kWh battery pack. The company claims that these scooters can travel 85 kilometres on a single full charge.

Similarly, Tiger has a 2.5 kW motor and a 2.3 kW hour battery pack. The company claims that these scooters can travel 95 kilometres on a single full charge.

In addition, these two scooters have features like keyless start, disc brake system, TFT display, LED light, tubeless tires.

Price of TALGI Scooter

The company has informed us that the price of both Lion and Tiger scooters is Rs. 183,000 and Rs 200,000 (estimated).

Genius Electric Motorcycle Specs and features

The company has also unveiled two motorcycles. Genius X46 Naked and Genius XY46 sports motorcycles have been made public. Both these motorcycles have the same features.

These motorcycles have a 72 volt 60 amp battery and a 4,000-watt motor. It will take 3 hours and 30 minutes to fully charge the battery in normal household electricity. It can travel 100 kilometres on a single full charge. It has features like a double disk, chain drive, LED lights, hill assist sensor, TFT display, the mobile holder on the front.

Price of Genius Motorcycle

The Genius X46 is priced at Rs 426,000 and the Genius XY46 is priced at Rs 426,000, according to the company.

The company has also provided a monthly instalment facility. Sanjib Silpkar, Director of the Yoma Ma E Motors Pvt. Ltd, said that special discounts will be provided to customers who want to buy in cash.

Two models from the Indian electric scooter manufacturer Pure EV have entered the market for sale in Nepal. Two versions of electric scooters available in the Nepali market are Pure EV's E-Pluto 7 G and Etrance plus.

These scooters are available at Showroom in Naxal, Kathmandu. These scooters are provided by White Lotus Motors Pvt. Ltd. as the official distributor for the Nepali market. The official sale of these scooters will be launched within a week.

Etrance-plus

Ashok Khadgi, White Lotus Motors Managing Director, said that for those who want a significantly higher speed and luxury model, E-Pluto 7 G is available, and etrance Plus is for those who want less and less speed. The costs of these scooters are Rs 229,000 (etrance Plus) and Rs 249,000 (ePluto 7G).

On the occasion of the launch, a Rs 15,000 discount will be available on E-Pluto 7 G and Rs 10,000 on Etrance Plus.

E-Pluto-7G

A 2.5-kilowatt battery and a 1.5-kilowatt engine are available on the E-Pluto 7 G scooter that can ride 116 kilometers on a single charge. There is a 1.25 kWh battery and a 250watt engine in the E-Trance Plus scooter. On a single charge, it can run 62 kilometers.

The scooter would offer a 3-year warranty and a 2-year free service. Electric scooters, however, do not need much maintenance and there is no issue with the scooter's battery and motor for five years, according to the experience of the Indian industry, as said by Khadgi.

By extracting it from the scooter, the battery can also be charged. Since banks will offer loans of up to 80 percent for electric cars, the financial facility can also provide scooters.

These scooters will also be accessible in various towns, including Butwal, Chitwan, and Pokhara, in addition to the Kathmandu Valley.
