The ‘PUBG Mobile Championship 2021' in Nepal will be sponsored by TVS Motor Company. The event is associated with the tagline of the company's Bluetooth-enabled scooter TVS NTORQ 125, "Play Smart." Registration for the championship begins on April 18, 2021, and three lucky winners will receive TVS Ntorq 125 SuperSquad Edition scooters.

Mr. Deepak Agrawal, Vice-President of Jagdamba Motors, said in a statement announcing the partnership, “At Jagdamba Motors, our goal has always been to focus on leveraging platforms that will resonate with our target group, the youth of

Nepal. We have nurtured such associations at regular intervals and will continue to build properties which create aspiration for TVS Motor Company products in the country.”

Over 600 players, 25 streaming platforms, and 16 streamers are expected to compete in the PUBG Mobile Championship 2021, including well-known names including "4K Gaming Nepal," "SK 49," and "Mr. Hyozu." The championship will take place over a period of the next 40 days.

"The market share of global brand smart  TV  of  TCL  Electronics in  2020  ranked  Top  2  in the world.  "

In  2020,  despite the  Covid-19  pandemic, TCL Electronics' global smart TV sales and its Internet business again achieved record results.  

The  Company's revenue reached  HK$50.95 billion, up 40.2% year-on-year.

Gross profit reached HK$9.66 billion, up 29.8% year-on-year, with a gross profit margin of 19.0%.

The expense ratio decreased by 1.2 percentage points year-on-year to 15.5%.

> The global annual sales volume of TCL TV reached 23.93 million sets, with a  year-on-year growth of  15.9%. 

> The market  share  by  sales  volume  of  TCL  TV  in:

  •  The overall  TV  market increased by  1.5 percentage points year-on-year to  10.7%  in  2020,  ranking  No.  3  in the world.  

  • The  LCD  TV  market increased by  1.6 percentage points year-on-year to  10.9%  in  2020,  with its ranking jumped to No. 2 globally. 

 

 

> Sales volume in 2020 ranked top 5 in 19 countries.

>  TCL  TV  accounted for  13.7%  of the market share by sales volume, ranking No. 3 in 2020; and market share in terms of sales revenue increased to 13.5%, rising to No. 2 in 2020.

> The average screen size of  TCL TV sales increased by 0.8 inches from 44.8 inches in 2019 to 45.6 inches in 2020.

> The proportion of  TCL  TV  of  65-inch  and above by sales volume increased by  1.0 percentage point from 10.0% in 2019 to 11.0% in 2020.

> North American   Markets,   sales volume increased by  25.4%  year-on-year. 

> In European  Markets, sales volume increased by  66.0%  year-on-year. 

> In  2020,  the  Company’s sales revenue of TCL TV in the overseas markets reached HK$26.76 billion, up 27.4% year-on-year. 

> Gross profit of the business in the overseas markets reached HK$4.36 billion,  up by  34.0%  year-on-year, and gross profit margin reached 16.3%, up by  0.8 percentage points year-on-year.

> In 2020, the annual global Internet business revenue of the Company reached HK$1.23 billion, substantially up by 97.0% year-on-year.

> In overseas markets, in 2020, revenue from overseas internet business of the Company reached HK$323 million, up by 53.7% year-on-year. 

>  The business opportunity brought by the   “Stay-at-Home   Economy”,   the   Company continued to deepen cooperation with Internet giants Roku and Google.

> The company’s partnership with Roku has expanded from the U.S. to worldwide since July 2020.

> Working closer together with Netflix in overseas markets. 

> As of December 2020, TCL Channel covered 12 countries in total. 

 

 

 

In the PRC market, the Company continued to enhance Falcon Network Technology’s operation capability.  

In  2020,  revenue from the domestic Internet business  (mainly relevant business of  Falcon  Network  Technology  Group)  surged by  118.8% year-on-year to  HK$911  million.

By the end of  December  2020,  the average monthly number of active users of the Company’s domestic Internet platform operated by Falcon Network Technology increased by 15.5% year-on-year to 17.91 million.

ARPU  reached  HK$53.2,  up  50.7%  year-on-year.  

Falcon Network Technology also began to work with 8 cloud gaming platforms, short-video giant ByteDance to explore other content verticals.

Increased Investment in Research and Development (“R&D”), Focusing on High- End Display and Intelligent Interaction Technology

The Company continued to focus on the design, R&D, and advanced manufacturing of the next-generation smart TV. 

The R&D expense ratio increased by 1.1 percentage points year-on-year to  3.2%. 

On  18  August  2020,  the  Company launched the world’s first  5G+8K  smart screen products,  namely the  8K  Mini  LED 75X10 (5G version) smart screen and 8K QLED 85X9 (5G version) smart screen.

At present, the Eagle Laboratory of the Company consists of four technological centers worldwide, with over 200 employees in the big data and cloud platform team. 

TCL TV has amazing features like Farfield Voice Assistant, Dolby Vision, 3 years warranty and a lot more.

In addition, Motor and PCB installed in TCL Washing Machine has a warranty of 5 years. Similarly, TCL Air Conditioner also has a warranty of 5 years.
