All the riders want their bike to be new and shiny throughout the time but is it really possible?

We tend to make so many silly mistakes that we end up with so many scratched on our bike which after a certain time degrades the look of your bike.

Here are some tips to prevent your motorcycle from scratches:

Parking

Whenever you are to park your bike in a tight parking lot, make sure you always park it on its main (center) stand and not on its side stand.

This is because, when you park with the side stand, your bike is easily prone to be touched by the neighboring bike when the person takes his/her bike out thereby getting scratched.

Service

Might sound odd, but it is true. Your motorcycle gets scratches while you leave for servicing as careless handling and lack of space result in getting your bike scratched.

Moreover, you need to be aware of this and tell the mechanic to handle your bike carefully.

Clean your bike regularly

You should make a habit of wiping your bike on regular basis.

Make sure to wipe it immediately when you find come bird-droppings, dust, and mud. This may lead to scratches if not wiped off.

Be careful in traffic signals

We all riders have a habit of pushing our bikes through every single gap. It is a really bad habit one must avoid.

Do not try to push yourself into every single gap because it is where most scratches happen.

Use soft cloth

Avoid using clothes with hard material as it causes scratches to your bike. Moreover, do not wipe your bikes with clothes other than soft ones. These days, you get a separate soft cloth to wipe bikes.

Ways to Prevent scratches on Car

9th December 2021
"If you’re a car owner, even a tiny little scratch can ruin your day."

If you’re a car owner, even a tiny little scratch can ruin your day.

Likewise, a scratched and chipped car paint not only creates an unattractive look but also leads to bigger problems like rusting if the scratch is deep enough to expose the metal under the paint. In order to prevent this problem there are certain things you need to be careful of:

Choose Your Parking Spots Wisely

You should always be smart while parking your car.

When you park your car in an area with high pedestrian traffic or close to other vehicles; an opening door, a scraping handbag, or another driver who’s trying to park in a narrow space can easily scratch your car’s paintwork or cause even deeper damage.

Moreover, in order to protect your car from scratches, you can try leaving it in a garage instead of on the sides of the streets.

Clean Your Car Regularly

Cleaning your car regularly and wisely is very important in order to keep your car free from scratches.

You also need to know that cleaning your car too frequently—and incorrectly—can cause as much damage as leaving it covered in dust and dirt.

So always clean your car with the right methods like avoiding using brushes.

As a matter of fact, most small scratches that are not direct results of accidents and bumps tend to occur during the washing process. Moreover, wash your car regularly but correctly.

Ceramic Coating

This is the best way to protect your car from external damage like Scratch. It is an invisible layer on your vehicle which protects your car from scratches, UV rays, and corrosion.

Moreover, the durable ceramic coating offers much longer protection than car wax products do, hence providing car enthusiasts with much more than just an aesthetically pleasing, glossy vehicle.

Don't place foreign objects on the car

If you want to protect the paint from scratches, never sit on your car or place an object on the hood or roof for convenience's sake.

Allow ample space around the car when you're driving

You need to be very careful while driving. Avoid any situation that puts you in too close a proximity to other vehicles, stationary objects, low hanging tree branches, or overgrown shrubs that could scrape the paint and cause a scratch.

How to make your motorcycle seat more comfortable

20th December 2021
"It doesn’t matter how good of a seat your motorcycle has, eventually there will be that one time it’s going to start to get a little bit uncomfortable or bother you."

There are many things you can do to make your motorcycle fit you better, and making your motorcycle more comfortable can improve your riding experience too. It doesn’t matter how good of a seat your motorcycle has, eventually there will be that one time it’s going to start to get a little bit uncomfortable or bother you.

Here are some effective ways to make your motorcycle seat more comfortable:

Change your seat

This is the most logical and obvious solution. But it can also be the most costly.

Changing your seat will give you a chance to make sure the seat is correct for your body type.

Take the time to research and make sure you are getting the seat that is best for you and your riding style.

Air Cell Cushion

An air cell cushion might be the most expensive one that you could buy, but they are very durable and will last you a long time.

These pads were inspired by the pads they use to make sure people don’t get bedsores in hospitals, so you can rest assured that they’ll be comfortable.

You can also customize how many air cells you want in this cushion.

There should be a small valve on the side that lets you decide how high you want to sit and how firm you want the seat.

Gel Pad

Another popular type of motorcycle pad you could get is a gel pad.

Unlike the air cell pads, these are filled with gel which will help to distribute your weight a little more evenly across the seat.

They’re normally thick, heavy, and made of fabric. However, it will offer you more comfort than the hard motorcycle seats.

Take Breaks

One easy way to ease the pain is to just take breaks now and then. Whenever you come to a stopping position, just stand up for a little bit.

If your motorcycle has back pegs, you could stand up on the back of those while you’re riding.

If you don’t feel comfortable standing up, you can try switching up your positions throughout the ride.

You can sit forward, left, right, or back to help distribute some of the pressure.
