Best 5 Parental Control Apps
"Keep your children safe!"
While hundreds of applications promise to track and safeguard your children, few can genuinely give you the peace of mind that your child is secure. Most applications need so many adjustments and hours of work from your hand that you're going to work on the phone of your child full time, or worse, they just don't do the work.
This software, through various websites and social networks, strip out negative and inappropriate content. They also give you simple-to-use software to control the behavior of your infant, keep track of their position, and set safe time limits for the computer.
Qustodio
Qustodio is a tablet, desktop, and mobile parental control software that lets you track the screen time of your children and stop them from watching objectionable content. For websites and applications they use, you can set unique filters and time limits and track their usage history. Qustodio is a little more expensive relative to comparable products, but it comes with added functionality such as a panic button and tracking of SMS, making it ideal for fighting to cyberbully. You can see text messages and social media updates by tracking SMS and social media, and it also helps you to block contacts from particular phone numbers. A user-friendly interface and position monitoring are also available for Qustodio.
NetNanny
Net Nanny has both time limitations and scheduling, so you can monitor the number of time children spend every day on their computers and the hours they are able to use them. Net Nanny also notifies the child with a full-screen notification that their screen time has been consumed or that their planned screen time has expired. Net Nanny lets you block particular websites and applications, and the app blocking is glitchy though website blocking went well.
A good advantage of this sort of app is Net Nanny's position monitoring. Each minute, it updates the location of your child's phone on a map so that you either know where they are or at least where their phone is.
Mobicip
It's not the most pricey or affordable parental control app, and for the price, you get decent value and security. There are 3 plans, all of which come with the same functionality, differing only in terms of how many devices are connected. You can use Mobicip on Windows, MacOS, Android, Amazon Kindle, and Chromebook. You would have to set the device to the "Supervised" mode on iOS, though. This will allow you a bit more access than a computer that is not monitored. This is one of the simplest parental control apps to set up.
Kaspersky Safe Kids
Kaspersky Safe Kids does what you want on all popular sites and from a parental control product. In specific, it runs on an unlimited number of devices and provides excellent features for web filtering and app banning. You can run it on an unlimited number of devices, and Kaspersky does about anything you might expect from a typical parental control app, including banning applications, geo-fencing location tracking, site browsing, and time management. In addition to preferring sleek icons, Kaspersky Secure Kids' web interface uses a soft overall color scheme of Kaspersky green even more sparingly.
Norton Family
Norton Family provides tracking across an unlimited number of devices and lets you track all the behaviors of your children from well-designed web and smartphone applications. An upgrade addresses previous problems with the site filtering capabilities of Family Premier. For parents of today's hyper-connected youngsters, Norton Family Premier provides an amazing set of parental control and tracking features. It has an elegant user interface and tracks loads of user details. In the new modified version, the Norton Family even solved some glaring web filtering issues. Norton Family does not, however, support Macs.
