Ford Nepal (Go Automobiles Pvt. Ltd.) introduces New All FIGO with Automatic Transmission Featuring 1.2L Powerful engine with 6-speed Automatic Gearbox. 

Expanding choices & delivering what consumers want and value, Ford Nepal today introduced 2 brand-new variants to the most relished FIGO lineup: FORD FIGO Titanium A/T and FORD FIGO Titanium+ A/T.

All New FIGO A/T features

The 2021 Ford Figo petrol automatic is available in Titanium and Titanium Plus variants. The Titanium variant brings 15-inch alloys, height adjustment for the driver's seat and rear passenger headrests, 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment Sys, manual AC, steering wheel-mounted controls, two airbags, powered outer mirrors and ESP.  

The Titanium Plus adds side and curtain airbags, Automatic AC, auto-headlights and wipers, electrochromic IRVM, power folding mirrors, front fog lamps and a rear washer/wiper and defogger.

All New FIGO A/T Engine

The new variant is the upgraded version of its popular hatchback ford FIGO which now features segment based 6- Speed, Automatic Transmission (Torque Converter) that is paired to BS6 complaint, 1.2 Litre TiVCT petrol engine delivering 96 PS of power and 119 NM peak torque. 

Figo AT offers several industry-best features i.e.:
•    Rain-sensing wipers, electrochromic IRVM for greater convenience
•    7” capacitive touchscreen infotainment system for superior connectivity
•    Side & curtain airbags, standard dual front airbags, traction control system, electronic stability control and hill launch assist among other features as superior safety

The Ford Figo has a benchmark in value of ownership with a 3-year or 100,000 KM standard warranty, longer service intervals of 10,000 KM, compared to 5,000 KM for most other competing models.

Ford India is preparing to expand its product lineup. The company has recently teased the Ford Figo AT on its social media channels and also announced the launch date of the automatic variant of the hatchback.

The new Ford Figo AT will be launched in India on Thursday, 22 July. Apart from that, no other information has been released by the company. It will likely come paired to a 6 speed torque converter unit.

The Figo AT would be a 1.2L 3-cylinder engine that would produce 95 horsepower and 119 Nm of peak torque.

The company is also expected to introduce the AT in the Aspire and Freestyle versions in the future.

Ford Figo with an automatic gearbox was launched in the Indian market on Thursday and has a starting price of INR 7.75 lakh.

Ford Figo Automatic will add to the existing lineup of Figo hatchbacks.

The six-speed torque converter is the major change in the new Figo Automatic. It will be available in the mid-spec Titanium and Titanium Plus trims. The price for the Titanium Plus trim will go up to INR 8.20 lakh.

The gearbox is the same that is used in Ford’s subcompact SUV EcoSport and has been paired with the existing 1.2-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine with necessary tweaks.

The engine, now mated to the automatic gearbox, will be capable of producing maximum power of 95 bhp and 119 Nm of peak torque. The Figo Automatic will also get a ‘Sports’ mode for a more peppy driving experience. The Figo Automatic promises to return a fuel economy of 16 kmpl (ARAI certified).

As far as the changes in design are concerned, there are few minor tweaks to the new automatic variant of the Figo. The new dual-tone 15-inch alloy wheels on the 2021 Figo Automatic have been redesigned with a more sporty appeal.

As far as other features are concerned, the new Figo Automatic gets 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment, automatic climate control, rain-sensing wipers, and remote keyless entry among others. 

Among safety features, the new Figo gets six airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control and hill launch assist.

It will compete with rivals like Maruti Suzuki Swift, Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, Volkswagen Polo, and Tata Altroz among others.
