DTH service provider in Nepal is going to do the live broadcast of Euro Cup 2020.

The live broadcast of the game will be presented on DishHome’s Action Sports Channel. The viewers will have the option to listen to the commentary in both Nepali and English during the matches, however the inbuilt default language will be English. DishHome subscribers can choose the Nepali commentary by clicking on the Yellow audio button on the remote. Action Sports is available through other cable operators as well, and if there’s an audio option on the remote, you can get the Nepali commentary. 

DishHome’s Action Sports is available on Clear TV (Channel 543), Sim TV(Channel 105/991), Mero TV (Channel 900), Net TV (Channel 429)  and Prabhu TV (Channel 713). On DishHome you can get the Action Sports on Channel 104 in SD quality and Channel 991 in HD quality. The Euro Cup that was canceled in 2020 due to the Corona pandemic has been resumed in 2021. Total 24 teams are participating in the Euro Cup that will be held from June 11 to July 11.

WHEN CAN WE EXPECT CG NET’S IPTV TO HIT THE MARKET?

It has been confirmed that DishHome and Prabhu TV join forces together.

The two big names in  DTH and digital TV service have decided to merge together and to be branded as DishHome. Not only TV service but both companies also started providing internet services from last year, which is also going to be merged into one with the same title. DishHome’s managing director Sudip Acharya said that the verbal agreement for the merger is done now all that’s left is to put it on paper but the company migration process however, has been started already.

Acharya shared that Prabhu TV currently has around 1,25,000 subscribers of TV service around 10,000 internet subscribers. He also shared that due to the ongoing lockdown the migration process can take upto two months.

During the migration the subscribers are allowed to choose either DishHome’s IPTV, cable TV , terrestrial based TV or Prabhu’s terrestrial based TV. This merger adds 1,50,000 new subscribers to DishHome’s TV service and 10,000 subscribers to the internet service. Acharya assures that the service will remain convenient after the merger.
