Xiaomi’s cheapest phone is now even cheaper. Xiaomi’s Redmi Go phone with decent specs and 4G support now is even cheaper. Xiaomi launched the Redmi Go six months ago. At that time, the Redmi Go price in Nepal was set at Rs 8,999 and Rs 9,999 but now the price has dropped permanently on both the variants.

Redmi Go features a 5 inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 and an aspect ratio of 16:9. powering the device is a Qualcomm MSM8917 Snapdragon 425 processor bundled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB or 16GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 128 GB via microSD(dedicated slot). On the GPU side, the phone features an Adreno 308.

The phone runs on the Android GO version of Android 8.1 Oreo. The phone comes with a single 8 MP camera with LED flash and HDR features. And in the front is a 5MP selfie shooter. The phone comes with a dual SIM slot supporting 4G connectivity.

The price of the Xiaomi Redmi Go phone in Nepal for the 8GB version is now Rs 7,999 whereas for 16GB storage the price is Rs 8,499. (Previously both the variants were priced at 8,999 and 9,999 respectively.)

Xiaomi, global technology leader, today announced their latest Redmi Earphones, to further Redmi’s phone plus strategy. This is the second product in the Redmi audio category lineup to be launched in Nepal.
