Along with its latest gaming smartphone, the ROG Phone 3, Asus has released some new updates for the ZenFone 7, ZenFone 7 pro as well. Recently the company introduced 90fps on PUBG Mobile on its ROG phone II. 

The new firmware update for the ZenFone 7 and the ZenFone 7 Pro comes with version number 29.14.53.14. The new update is believed to bring the November Android security patch and improvements in the camera department.

The Asus ZenFone 7 and 7 pro with the new update has Improved camera quality. Also, the 5G connection is improved and Bypass Charging Feature bugs are fixed. As for gaming features, the new update brings an Auto-lock touch function to Game Genie. This feature is said to turn on the lock touch mode when the screen is idle for a certain duration. The Aura light function also gets some stability fix when using the phone with the ROG Armor Lighting case.

ASUS ROG phone in its latest update has enabled VoLTE for some countries. With this update, the phone comes with an Auto-lock touch function similar to The Asus ZenFone 7 and 7 pro. Improved grayscale performance of the display, Improved Aura light function stability with the ROG Phone Armor Lighting case, Improved 5G connection are some of the major updates in this 17.0823.2012.122 version. 

The new OTA (over the air) updates for the ZenFone 7 series and the ROG Phone 3 are rolling out in batches. This means it may take some days for you to receive the update notification. You can manually check for the update by heading to System updates which can be found under Settings >System. The ability to manually update by grabbing the firmware files is not available at the moment.

According to LG Electronics, LG Magna e-Powertrain valued at $1 billion, is a joint venture between South Korea-based LG Electronics Inc and automotive supplier Magna International Inc that will manufacture e-motors, inverters, and onboard chargers.

The deal expands a wave of union among suppliers striving to capture a growing market for electric vehicles, e-axle systems, which combine electric motors, power controls, and driving gears in one unit.

Magna’s incoming CEO, Swamy Kotagiri in an interview with Reuters said, "With combined synergies of both companies together I think we’ll be able to address not only our existing customers but all the major audiences and preferably the new entrances looking for electric platforms.”

LG says LG will own 51% of the new company and Magna will own 49%.
