1st December 2021
"Wrinkles are a natural part of getting older, and there’s no reason to dread getting them. But if you would like to slow the signs of aging on your face, there are natural ways to do so."

Wrinkles are folds or ridges on our skin. As you age, your skin produces less of the proteins collagen and elastin. Wrinkles are a natural part of getting older, and there’s no reason to dread getting them. But if you would like to slow the signs of aging on your face, there are natural ways to do so.

1. Aloe Vera

Known for its healing properties and enriched Vitamin E content, applying aloe vera on the skin for 90 days continuously can help us get rid of wrinkles.

Aloe Vera helps us in getting rid of the dull skin too.

2. Egg whites

Eggs can do wonders for our skin and the Vitamin and protein compound present in them can help avoid wrinkles.

Egg whites help in tightening our skin and also absorb excess sebum from the skin. Apply egg white directly on the skin after whisking it and wash it with lukewarm water after it has dried completely.

3. Coconut Oil

Using coconut oil regularly can help the wrinkles to fade and it also acts as a moisturizing agent. It also restores the elasticity of the skin as well.

Coconut oil must be massaged under the affected areas and must be left overnight.

4. Banana Mask

The Vitamin A present in the bananas can help in fading of the dark spots and aging might also be prevented.

Bananas also result in proper hydration of the skin cells as well. Mashed bananas can be applied to the skin for 15-20 minutes and then wash it off with warm water.

5. Olive Oil

If you wish to have softer skin, olive oil can prove a good friend to you. Olive oil is an excellent method to cure wrinkles as it effectively helps in removing the fine lines.

Olive oil increases the skin's collagen levels. Massaging a few drops of olive oil on the skin before sleeping and later cleaning it with a towel is effective for curing wrinkles.

6. Vaseline

Vaseline is an age-old method to cure your wrinkled skin. Vaseline helps in locking the moisture in the skin.

Apply Vaseline on the affected area and massage it for a few minutes and leave it overnight.

7. Cucumber mask

Due to the presence of water, vitamins, and minerals, a cucumber mask helps in tightening and hydrating the skin and protects it from dryness.

Grate the cucumber and extract the juice. Apply the juice all over your face and rinse it with water.

Best home remedies to get rid of pimples

3rd February 2021
"Bid farewell to nasty zits and pimples, and welcome ever-glowing flawless skin with these home remedies."

Be it the last minute ‘let’s go-to party together’ zit or the whiteheads that are residing on your nose for a long time, we all have searched for ‘how to get rid of pimples’ at least once to twice. There are many cosmetic and skincare brands promising to take care of those nasty pimples, but most of them were either just fraud or failed to fulfill their promise- some might have even worsened the situation. So, to save your time going to a dermatologist or a chemist and to save your skin from the potential harm of chemicals, we’ve listed down few home remedies for pimples. The list has been approved and agreed on by many dermatologists.

Turmeric and honey

Turmeric is famous for its anti-inflammatory properties. Turmeric helps to remove excess oil from the skin and helps to shrink the size of pimples. As for honey, it helps to get rid of bacteria in a pimple as it has anti-microbial properties. Apply their mixture on wet skin and rinse off after 5 minutes.

Multani mitti

Multani mitti is rich in magnesium chloride that helps to get rid of pimples and prevents breakouts. It is also known for being a deep cleanser for the skin and also for removing impurities and dirt particles that can clog our skin pores. Apply the mixture of Multani mitti with water or rose water and rinse it off after 20 minutes.

Aloe vera

Aloe vera is well-known for its soothing and calming effects. If your pimple has flared up and is becoming all red and painful, use the aloe vera to soothe and heal it. It's best to use the aloe directly from the plants rather than the ones we find in the market as there’s a high chance of them having added preservatives and chemicals. If you suffer from boils or cysts, it will effectively treat them because of its anti-fungal traits. It is also helpful at lightening any scars caused by acne if applied daily.

Papaya

Papaya contains many properties that prevent and treat pimples. It contains anti-oxidants, Vitamin A and C, which help speed up cell turnover, which can help prevent acne from occurring. When applied topically, it's a great exfoliator that isn't harsh like many other products. Mash the papaya, and let it sit on your skin for 10 minutes, and then rinse it off.

Yogurt

The lactic acid in yogurt removes the dead skin cells and helps to clear skin with its anti-bacterial properties. Apply organic yogurt on your face and wash it off after it dries off.

Rosewater

Rosewater is also well-known for its anti-inflammatory properties that reduce the size of a pimple. It also acts as a soothing agent, which helps reduce redness and calms the irritated skin. Spritz it onto your skin in place of a toner, morning and night.
