BMW has unveiled the third-generation X1 and the all-electric iX1 For the global market. The new X1 has a more unique look, more features, and a wider range of engine choices.
The massive, almost square BMW kidney grille, with its contouring highlighted by the three-dimensional chrome surround, is at the heart of the new front-end design.
Chunkier wheel arches and flush door handles distinguish the side appearance. Horizontal lines, a thin rear window, and wide wheel arches emphasize the breadth of the body at the back.
The new BMW X1 will be available with a variety of engines, including petrol, diesel, and plug-in hybrid. A 1.5-liter petrol engine with 136 hp, a 1.5-liter petrol engine with mild-hybrid assistance and 170 hp, both front-wheel drive, and 2.0-liter petrol mild-hybrid with 204 hp and all-wheel drive round out the petrol range.
There are two diesel engines available: a 2.0-liter engine with 150 hp and all-wheel drive, and a 2.0-liter engine with mild-hybrid technology that produces 211 hp and all-wheel drive.
Finally, there are two plug-in hybrid variants, the 245hp 25e, and the 326hp 30e, which combine a 1.5-liter three-cylinder petrol engine with an electric motor to power the rear wheels.
The BMW iX1 EV, on the other side, has two electric motors that provide 313hp and 493Nm of torque. The ix1, which has a 64.7kWh battery pack, has a range of 413 to 437 kilometers.

On the inside, the new X1 has plenty of room and cutting-edge technology. The interior geometry and a huge number of features are inspired by the BMW iX's interior concept.
The slim instrument panel, a stage for the BMW Curved Display, and a "floating" armrest with integrated controls are all key elements.
The standard BMW Curved Display, which consists of a 10.25-inch information panel and a 10.7-inch control display, is also included in the new X1.
