Self Treatment for Heat Rash | Simple Methods |

30th December 2021
"When sweat cannot escape from the sweat ducts to the skin's surface, it results in heat rash."

When sweat cannot escape from the sweat ducts to the skin's surface, it results in heat rash.

This closes the pores and triggers an inflammatory reaction in the body, which manifests itself as a rash.

Here are some remedies which can help you prevent heat rash:

Take a cool bath or shower

This is the best way to get rid of heat rashes. Taking a cool bath or shower cools the skin and can help to soothe itchy skin.

Also, using a gentle exfoliate on the skin may help to unblock the pores. Moreover, you can also use a cold compress as it is a simple, but great rash treatment.

This relieves the pesky symptoms of a rash and helps to reduce its severity.

Moreover, people can apply a cold compress, such as an ice pack or cold cloth, to the area of skin to reduce redness, itching, and swelling.

Use fans/ air conditioning

Fans and air conditioning can help to keep temperatures low indoors and help the body stay cool. This is especially important for anyone on bed rest.

When exercising in hot climates, make sure there is air conditioning indoors.

When outdoors, choose to exercise during cooler parts of the day or in the shade to reduce excessive sweating and prevent heat rashes.

Calamine Lotion

Itching can be relieved with calamine lotion. However, because it may be drying to the skin, it's a good idea to pair it with a moisturizer to prevent further dryness.

Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera offers a wide range of medicinal benefits, including significant anti-inflammatory properties in its gel.

Many people believe that applying aloe Vera gel to irritated skin may alleviate their discomfort.

Cotton clothing

Loose clothing allows air to move about the body, allowing it to stay cool.

Wearing cotton or natural fabrics rather than synthetics, which are lighter and more breathable, helps to prevent your sin from heat rashes.

5 healthy aging tips for women

30th November 2021
"Aging is a natural part of life, and it's up to us to make the most of it that mean being active and feeling healthy."

As a woman, you may have many responsibilities on your plate, but your health should be a top priority. Aging is a natural part of life, and it's up to us to make the most of it that mean being active and feeling healthy.

These quick tips can help keep you happy and healthy as you juggle your everyday responsibilities.

Eat a healthy diet:

Proper nutrition is essential for the body. As you get older you lose muscle mass, bone density, and burn fewer calories.

It takes extra effort to make up for the natural changes of your body which is why eating high nutrient foods makes a big difference.

Good nutrition and food safety are especially important for older adults. As you age, you may be more susceptible to foodborne illness and food poisoning.

You need to make sure you eat a healthy, balanced diet.

Monitor your health:

Health screenings are an important way to help recognize health problems - sometimes before you show any signs or symptoms.

Ask your healthcare provider which health screenings are right for you and find out how often you should get screened.

Even if you feel fine, a yearly visit allows you to connect with your doctor or nurse.

It's important to get screenings and to discuss your health habits, family history, and plans for your health.

Exercise:

Exercise is one of Mother Nature's best anti-aging remedies. Regular exercise not only helps you live longer, but it also helps you sleep better, stay at a healthy weight, and feel good about yourself.

Plus, it can be a lot of fun. Aim for about 30 minutes a day of moderately intense activity a week such as walking and two or more days of strength training that works all major muscle groups (such as sit-ups and lifting weights).

Whether it's gardening, yoga, or hiking, finding activities you enjoy can make it easier to stick with them.

Focus on your mental health:

Being happy and keeping your stress down goes a long way in helping you live and age well.

Meaningful relationships and a strong social network improve mental and physical well-being and longevity.

Don’t forget your furry loved ones as having a pet has been linked to lower stress and blood pressure, reduced loneliness, and better moods.

Taking the time to engage in activities you enjoy will only fuel your happiness. Spend time in nature, pursue a new hobby, volunteer — whatever brings you joy.

Get enough sleep:

Good sleep is important for your physical and mental health. It also plays a role in your skin’s health. How much sleep you need depends on your age.

Getting enough sleep has been proven to lower the risk of heart disease and stroke, reduce stress and depression, lower the risk of obesity, reduce inflammation, improve focus and concentration.

Best way to protect your hair from wearing a helmet |Women|

26th December 2021
"If you ride a scooter or a motorcycle every day, you must be wearing a protective helmet as well."

If you ride a scooter or a motorcycle every day, you must be wearing a protective helmet as well. And no matter what you think about this essential safety gear; that the helmet looks unaesthetic, that it ruins your hairstyle or it is the main cause of your hair loss, you still have to wear it.

Here are some tips to help you protect your hair while riding a motorcycle:

Clean your Helmet

Make sure you clean your helmet on a weekly or biweekly basis. It’s a simple exercise and one you shouldn’t ignore.

You can remove and wash the cushioning on the interior of all good-quality helmets.

This way, you get rid of any dust, sweat, and bacteria that might have gathered there. Wipe the rest of it thoroughly with a clean damp cloth.

If you want healthy hair, you must take care of your helmet.

Wear Protective Caps

Nowadays, there are a whole lot of options available in the market and one of them is protective caps.

Just like you wear caps for sun protection similarly, silk caps can be used to protect your hair from further damage while wearing your helmet.

When you will protect your hair in a cap, it will no longer come in contact with the harsh surface of the helmet and it will automatically stay safe and secure within the cap’s cozy comfort.

Choose Quality Helmets

The helmet is the concerning factor thus, it is important to choose good or high-quality helmets.

We tend to not provide optimum amounts of our finances to the things we consider low on our priority list but those little things can make all the difference.

No matter how many expensive protective caps you buy or how many pretty protective hairstyles you wear, if you are not investing in a high-quality helmet then, all of your efforts are a waste of time.

Cloth Cover inside the Helmet

If you are not much into protective caps, there are different possibilities for the overall protection of your hair.

You can cover the inside lining of the helmet with a soft silky cloth.

This will ensure that your hair comes in contact with the silky soft lining of the cloth and not the hard surface of the helmet.

You will get access to these clothes from any good quality cloth store and they can easily get attached over the inner hard lining of the helmet.

Avoid Wearing A Helmet On Wet Hair

If you wear a helmet while your hair is wet, the helmet's insides can become damp.

The lack of airflow encourages the growth of germs and fungi, causing infections in the scalp that bring about more problems than just hair loss.

Moreover, wearing a helmet can cause more damage to wet hair. It's best to take time out and dry your hair properly before you put your helmet on.

A few extra minutes can save you the trouble of enduring other hair problems.
