Moreover, when particular regions of your skin are darker than the rest, this is known as hyperpigmentation.

It's a common skin problem that affects people of all skin types. It can emerge in little patches, bigger regions, or even the entire body in exceptional situations.

Keep out of direct sunlight

During the peak hours of 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., try to keep yourself out of the sun. When you're outside, sit under an umbrella or in the shade to reduce your solar exposure.

Wear a cap

A wide-brimmed hat will provide protection for your face and head. Moreover, it helps to avoid the direct effect of sunlight on your face.

This is one of the best ways to protect yourself from direct sunlight when you have to move around during peak hours.

Apply SPF on your skin

 To protect your skin from damaging UV rays, choose sun protection with at least SPF 15 and wear it every day, especially in the colder months.

Always use moisturizer and sunscreen that moisturizes your skin while also protecting it from the sun.

Touch your skin as little as possible

 It's important to avoid scratching or picking a mosquito bite or acne since it might cause irritation and deeper pigmentation on your face.

When you do direct contacts with your skin, such as when applying skincare or cosmetics, be sure your hands are clean.

Home Remedies To Remove Face Pigmentation

Do you know what skin pigmentation is? Pigmentation simply means coloring and skin pigmentation disorders mean the pigmentation of your skin.

Moreover, Hyperpigmentation is a condition that makes your skin look darker. It can affect certain areas of your skin or your entire body. Age spots, also known as liver spots, are a common type of hyperpigmentation.

So are you tired of using the medications and treatment of your skin pigmentation?  

Don’t worry. Try some home remedies to treat your problem. Here is the list of the home remedies to treat your skin pigmentation:

1. Apple Cider Vinegar:

Apple cider vinegar is the acetic acid, which helps in lightening the pigmentation on your skin. Moreover, it is a natural bleaching agent which makes it fastest-acting natural remedy for pigmentation.

Tips: Mix apple cider vinegar and water in equal parts in a container. Then, apply it to your dark patches and leave on two to three minutes then, wash it using lukewarm water. You can repeat the application twice a day to achieve the desired results.

You can also take half a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar along with a tablespoon of honey and apply on dark spots or patches or even soaked in a face mask and let it sit for 15 minutes

2. Green Tea Extract:

Green Tea is an excellent toner that reduces dark spots and pigmentation.

Moreover, antioxidants like catechins are present in green tea that not only soothe the skin but effectively reduce the appearance of dark spots and also fight against the early signs of aging.

Tips: Add green tea leaves into boiling hot water and let it soak for as long as the tea leaves' contents permeate into the liquid. Let it cool and then use a cotton ball or spray it on the face as and when required. You can also rub the tea bag over your dark patches twice a day to get better results.

3. Turmeric:

Turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties which help in soothing the skin especially caused by overexposure to the sun or acne scars.

Tips: Just add a few drops of lemon juice to the turmeric powder and apply it in your face and watch your skin glow from top to bottom.

Effective home remedies for skin tightening

Fine lines, wrinkles, and sagging skin are some of the signs of aging. You don’t have to buy expensive skin care products to get flawless and glowing skin.

Try some of the home remedies mentioned below to tighten your facial skin.

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil slows down the aging process by delivering a host of nutrients and beneficial antioxidants to your skin.

In addition, coconut oil hydrates and moisturizes your skin, which prevents sagging.

To use coconut oil as a skin tightening treatment, start with a teaspoon of coconut oil and massage it into your skin for five minutes before bed.

The massaging helps to push the coconut oil deeper into your skin where it can do the most good. Leave the oil on overnight for an added boost of healing.

Egg White & Honey Mask

Egg whites and honey have each been known for their many health benefits.

But together, the two foods can also be combined and used as a mask to tighten sagging and loose skin.

Mix the egg white and the honey well. Apply this mixture to your face and neck.

Leave it for about 20 minutes and then wash it off with cold water. Do this thrice a month.

Bananas

Bananas are known to detox the skin.

Bananas also have essential vitamins and minerals which are needed for skin tightenings, such as Vitamins A, B, C, and D, and zinc, potassium, magnesium, and iron.

Bananas can also help hydrate the skin and lower the signs of aging. Unpeel and mash the banana.

Add a few drops of lime juice to it and mix it well. Apply it to your face. Let it sit for 15 minutes then rinse.

Try this remedy two times a week for the best results.

Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera contains malic acid and is a natural moisturizer that helps improve skin elasticity.

It contains various phytochemicals to ensure the optimal health of your skin.

Take 2-3 spoons of aloe vera gel in a bowl and mix it. Apply the mask to your face.

Leave it for 20-25 minutes and wash it afterward with water.

Coffee Scrub

Coffee reduces signs of aging and prevents skin sagging. It can also be used as an under-eye skin tightening home remedy.

Coffee exfoliates the skin and removes dirt and toxins.

Take ¼ cup of ground coffee in a bowl. Add 2 tablespoons of coconut oil to it and mix well.

Apply the mixture on the skin and start scrubbing by using your fingers in a circular motion. Wash with lukewarm water and apply moisturizer.
