ShortsTV officially Launched in Nepal | DishHome |

ShortsTv has been officially launched in Nepal virtually on 17th January 2022 in collaboration with DishHome. 

ShortsTV, a channel dedicated to short films, has expanded into Nepal in collaboration with DTH provider DishHome after successfully building its network across India.

With this collaboration, ShortsTV becomes Nepal's first specialized platform for short tales and films, with over 900 hours of innovative and compelling short-format storytelling.

The service will be available to all users as part of the Basic Pack and will have a promising lineup of 4000+ premium movies, including the best of the Oscars, Baftas, and Cannes, as well as famous Indian short films.

Subscribers can expect an intriguing mix of award-winning and nominated short films in genres such as comedy, drama, thriller, mystery, crime, and adventure, among others, in carefully selected one-hour programming blocks.

This premium service will be accessible to DishHome users as a linear channel on their television and through the DishHome companion mobile app.

"We are excited to enter Nepal with the country's main distribution providers — DishHome — and are convinced that ShortsTV will be a tremendous hit among the youth demographic and those who enjoy movies," said Carter Pilcher, Chief Executive of ShortsTV.

Skin, Bear Story, Friend request pending, Henry, Inseparable, Shackled, The Voorman Problem, Swimsuit 46, and other foreign short films can be found in ShortsTV's collection.

Moreover, It also includes several notable Indian short films featuring Bollywood superstars such as Kajol, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Radhika Apte, Rajkumar Rao, Naseeruddin Shah, and Jackie Shroff.

DishHome subscribers can avail Credit Service up to 5 days

"DishHome has now extended its credit period to 5 days so that no customer gets disconnected"

In its continuous quest to provide the best services to its customers, Dish Media Network Ltd. has always extended added value to its services. As a part of this service, DishHome has been providing 3 days credit period to its customers on expiry of their subscription. DishHome has now extended this credit period to 5 days so that no customer gets disconnected. With this service, customers can avail up to 5 days of credit period once the regular subscription expires. This extended period will be deducted from the regular subscription once the customer renews his subscription. This process will be executed through a hassle-free self-service model automated system and no extra service charge will be charged for availing this service.

The objective of this service is to provide uninterrupted service to customers. This service will provide customers with a grace period to recharge their subscription. The service will be really helpful for customers especially in the rural areas where getting immediate recharge may be difficult. The service is further expected to enhance customers’ television viewing experience by providing immediate subscription service renewal on sudden disconnection.

DishHome Credit Service is a self-service model service which can be activated through mobile SMS, through registered DishHome Mobile App or through DishHome Customer Care as per the convenience of the customers.
