Period cramps affect many people during periods. In some cases, the pain from period cramps can also be extreme. So are you getting down because of period cramps? Don't Worry! We are here with some of the home remedies to help relieve your pain. 

1. Stay Hydrated:

Remember to be hydrated, especially when you're in your periods. You're more likely to have abdominal cramps during your period if you're dehydrated. Moreover, you should always aim to drink 8 to 10 glasses of water per day to stay healthy and get rid of cramps.

2. Avoid caffeine/Alcohol and spicy foods:

Avoid caffeine

Caffeine/Alcohol/ Spicy Foods causes water retention, discomfort, and bloating to your body. So, it is very important to avoid such drinks and foods during your period.  

3. Taking Supplements like Vitamin and Calcium:

Dietary Supplements like vitamin B-6, B-12, B-1, E and D, Calcium, Magnesium, Zinc an also fish oil helps a lot to relieve your pain. Furthermore, Don't forget these supplements when you suffer from extreme period cramps.

Taking a hot shower or soaking into a warm bathtub will be the best thing you can do on your periods. It helps your pelvic muscle to relax with the warmth of the water and relieve your pain. Moreover, You can relax in a warm water bath for 15 to 20 minutes, adding a few drops of oils like lavender and rose to get the most benefits.

We all have been there and we all hate period pimples. Sometimes, it upsets us more than the cramps and the discomfort we experience during our menstrual cycle.

Here are the tips which might help you to get rid of your period acne period:

Know your cycle

Knowing your cycle will help you to take care of your skin before it starts to break out.

A week before your period, the progesterone level increases and it stimulates the production of sebum.

The sebum coming out of your skin pores block it and these greasy pores lead to pimples.

A slight increase in testosterone levels during this time also contributes to sebum production.

Benzoyl peroxide

It works well for treating period acne by making the pores shed dead skin cells and excess sebum.

It also helps in preventing acne by killing the bacteria underneath the skin.

Salicylic acid

It helps in acne treatment by exfoliating the skin and removing dead skin cells that can clog pores.

Its anti-inflammatory properties have a soothing effect on the skin.

Keep your hands off your face

You keep your hands on your laptop while working, touch the door handle and other places during the day, and touching your face will transfer the germs and bacteria to your face, this can lead to breakouts.
