Skullcandy Crusher Evo headphones with 40-hour battery life launched
"The headphones promise 40-hour battery life and are available on Skullcandy’s website."
Skullcandy has introduced its new headphones in the Crusher franchise called the Crusher Evo for Rs 12,999. The headphones come with the combination of Skullcandy’s sensory haptic bass and personal customized sound from Skullcandy’s partner Audiodo. The audio personalization technology can be enabled through the Skullcandy App. The sensory haptic bass feature is a signature for Skullcandy Crusher headphones and will feature in Crusher Evo headphones.
Skullcandy says the Crusher Evo headphones will give long-lasting 40 hours of battery life with rapid charge technology that can deliver 4 hours of play on just a 10-minute charge. The headphones will also feature media controls so that users can take calls, change tracks, adjust volume controls, and activate native device assistants like Google and Siri without touching their phone.
Like other recently launched Skullcandy products, the Crusher Evo headphones will have built-in Tile-finding technology that allows Crusher Evo owners to easily "ring their headphones" to locate them if ever lost. Moreover, the headphones have flat-folding to make the headphones more compact and collapsible design for easy portability. The Crusher Evo will also have a streetwear-inspired carry case and an auxiliary cable for non-Bluetooth connectivity, to watch or listen to content on airplane consoles. The headphones come with a USB-C charging cable and a 2-Year warranty.
The Crusher Evo headphones are available for Rs 12,999 on Skullcandy’s website. Users have to turn the slider down for more mellow bass on the headphones and turn it up for bass-heavy music. Skullcandy also says that the Crusher Evo features audio quality improvements over the original Crusher so that users can experience an even broader range of deeper, richer bass.
Skullcandy notes that to personalize a sound profile a Crusher Evo user can simply connect the headphones to the Skullcandy App and take a quick audio test to determine their unique Personal Sound Profile in both left and right ears. Skullcandy has also partnered with Swedish company Audiodo.
According to the company, the Audiodo technology automatically adjusts the incoming audio levels to optimize the sound of the headphones to each user’s profile. This will enable the users to hear layers and sounds in their audio that were never perceptible to them before.
Amlan Bhattacharjya, CEO of Brand Eyes, the official distributor of Skullcandy in India said, "Skullcandy fans have always loved Crusher because it truly delivers a one-of-a-kind immersive bass experience. It allows users to not only listen to their music or movies but actually feel them. Crusher Evo takes that immersion to an even higher level than ever before."
The headphones promise to give a personalized audio experience for unique hearing. "The result of bringing together our patented Crusher haptics with Personal Sound by Audiodo is something that’s pretty mind-blowing the first time you experience it. In testing, we found it really enjoyable to see how surprised people are when they hear and feel what they’ve been missing. There’s just nothing like it,” Bhattacharya said.
