Winter motorcycle gear for women

29th December 2021
"Whether riding as a passenger or riding the motorcycle, women will need to wear the appropriate gear to ensure their safety."

What should a woman wear on a motorcycle? Whether riding as a passenger or riding the motorcycle, women will need to wear the appropriate gear to ensure their safety. Male or female, injury prevention should always be considered among motorcyclists.

Helmets

First and foremost, every woman riding a motorcycle should always wear a helmet no matter how short of a ride it is.

And it should always be a full-face helmet and never a half helmet. It's important to wear a helmet when you ride.

A helmet protects you from noise, rain, snow, hail, and bugs. It could also save your life and keep your head warm during winter.

Eye protection

Most riders have visors on their helmets. Those who don’t should have some eye protection gear, like goggles or sunglasses.

Getting fragments of gravel, dust, or any other kind of debris in your eyes can cause discomfort, itchiness, or uncontrollable blinking while riding.

Eye goggles or sunglasses also protect you from flying bugs, wind, sunlight glare, or rain.

Other riders prefer to wear an open-face helmet, along with some sort of eye protection instead, which is just as fine.

Tank Bag Purse

You'll want to travel light when you head out on the road, but you'll still need a way to carry your stuff, so instead of a bulky purse, you can have a comfortable ride with the help of Tang or a side bag purse.

In the in-tank bag, you can store your keys, cell phone, garage door opener, sunscreen, and other personal items.

Hair Accessories

Nowadays, there are a whole lot of options available in the market and one of them is protective caps.

Silk caps can be used to protect your hair from further damage while wearing your helmet.

When you will protect your hair in a cap, it will no longer come in contact with the harsh surface of the helmet and it will automatically stay safe and secure within the cap’s cozy comfort.

Or else you can cover the inside lining of the helmet with a soft silky cloth which will keep you warm.

Motorcycle jacket

Jackets are one of the best riding gears for every rider. This keeps you comfortable for riding even if you want to long ride.

If you love motorcycle riding then you must use a bike riding jacket. It not only keeps you safe while being in an accident.

But it also will protect you from particles while riding. These motorcycle jackets are better for cold weather but you can use them in the summer season also.

How to make your motorcycle seat more comfortable

20th December 2021
"It doesn’t matter how good of a seat your motorcycle has, eventually there will be that one time it’s going to start to get a little bit uncomfortable or bother you."

There are many things you can do to make your motorcycle fit you better, and making your motorcycle more comfortable can improve your riding experience too. It doesn’t matter how good of a seat your motorcycle has, eventually there will be that one time it’s going to start to get a little bit uncomfortable or bother you.

Here are some effective ways to make your motorcycle seat more comfortable:

Change your seat

This is the most logical and obvious solution. But it can also be the most costly.

Changing your seat will give you a chance to make sure the seat is correct for your body type.

Take the time to research and make sure you are getting the seat that is best for you and your riding style.

Air Cell Cushion

An air cell cushion might be the most expensive one that you could buy, but they are very durable and will last you a long time.

These pads were inspired by the pads they use to make sure people don’t get bedsores in hospitals, so you can rest assured that they’ll be comfortable.

You can also customize how many air cells you want in this cushion.

There should be a small valve on the side that lets you decide how high you want to sit and how firm you want the seat.

Gel Pad

Another popular type of motorcycle pad you could get is a gel pad.

Unlike the air cell pads, these are filled with gel which will help to distribute your weight a little more evenly across the seat.

They’re normally thick, heavy, and made of fabric. However, it will offer you more comfort than the hard motorcycle seats.

Take Breaks

One easy way to ease the pain is to just take breaks now and then. Whenever you come to a stopping position, just stand up for a little bit.

If your motorcycle has back pegs, you could stand up on the back of those while you’re riding.

If you don’t feel comfortable standing up, you can try switching up your positions throughout the ride.

You can sit forward, left, right, or back to help distribute some of the pressure.

Best way to protect your hair from wearing a helmet |Women|

26th December 2021
"If you ride a scooter or a motorcycle every day, you must be wearing a protective helmet as well."

If you ride a scooter or a motorcycle every day, you must be wearing a protective helmet as well. And no matter what you think about this essential safety gear; that the helmet looks unaesthetic, that it ruins your hairstyle or it is the main cause of your hair loss, you still have to wear it.

Here are some tips to help you protect your hair while riding a motorcycle:

Clean your Helmet

Make sure you clean your helmet on a weekly or biweekly basis. It’s a simple exercise and one you shouldn’t ignore.

You can remove and wash the cushioning on the interior of all good-quality helmets.

This way, you get rid of any dust, sweat, and bacteria that might have gathered there. Wipe the rest of it thoroughly with a clean damp cloth.

If you want healthy hair, you must take care of your helmet.

Wear Protective Caps

Nowadays, there are a whole lot of options available in the market and one of them is protective caps.

Just like you wear caps for sun protection similarly, silk caps can be used to protect your hair from further damage while wearing your helmet.

When you will protect your hair in a cap, it will no longer come in contact with the harsh surface of the helmet and it will automatically stay safe and secure within the cap’s cozy comfort.

Choose Quality Helmets

The helmet is the concerning factor thus, it is important to choose good or high-quality helmets.

We tend to not provide optimum amounts of our finances to the things we consider low on our priority list but those little things can make all the difference.

No matter how many expensive protective caps you buy or how many pretty protective hairstyles you wear, if you are not investing in a high-quality helmet then, all of your efforts are a waste of time.

Cloth Cover inside the Helmet

If you are not much into protective caps, there are different possibilities for the overall protection of your hair.

You can cover the inside lining of the helmet with a soft silky cloth.

This will ensure that your hair comes in contact with the silky soft lining of the cloth and not the hard surface of the helmet.

You will get access to these clothes from any good quality cloth store and they can easily get attached over the inner hard lining of the helmet.

Avoid Wearing A Helmet On Wet Hair

If you wear a helmet while your hair is wet, the helmet's insides can become damp.

The lack of airflow encourages the growth of germs and fungi, causing infections in the scalp that bring about more problems than just hair loss.

Moreover, wearing a helmet can cause more damage to wet hair. It's best to take time out and dry your hair properly before you put your helmet on.

A few extra minutes can save you the trouble of enduring other hair problems.
