DishHome is preparing to roll out 200 Mbps internet

TV and internet service provider DishHome is preparing to provide 200 Mbps internet to its subscribers.
This package will be available for individual users for personal use. Managing Director of DishHome, Sudip Acharya shared that all the necessary processes for this plan has been completed. He adds that with this milestone DishHome will be the first company in Nepal to provide 200 Mbps internet. Till now the highest speed available in Nepali market is 120 Mbps.
According to Sudip, the new addition to DishHome services will have 150 to 200 Mbps internet packages, with very reasonable prices. Currently DishHome Fiber Net provides 30, 40, 60, and 100 Mbps internet packages.
A ‘price war’ has been going on amongst ISPs of Nepal, adding to that exchange DishHome is bringing the 200 Mbps package in Nepali market. This amount of bandwidth is preparing to be rolled out to the public in association with India’s City Company. Currently DishHome has been buying the bandwidth from Ncell.
DishHome’s internet service is reachable in 90% of Kathmandu valley and outside the valley it’s available in Hetauda, Itahari, Inahwa. The company plans to make its services accessible to all the major cities in the country by 2021.
