Xiaomi has released several Redmi phones, including the Note 11 Pro 5G, Note 11s, Note 11T pro, etc. In addition, Xiaomi will now launch the cheapest 5G phone in the Redmi 11 series range.

With that said, let’s take a quick look at the Redmi 11 5G with its key specifications:

The Redmi 11 5G will be paired with a 5G-capable MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor. A 90Hz refresh rate screen is combined with a 50MP twin camera system. A 5000mAh battery and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor are also included.

In terms of features, the Redmi 11 5G will have a thickness of 9mm. While there is no information on the device's design. According to rumors, the Redmi 11 5G would boast a 6.58-inch full HD LCD display with a refresh rate of 90Hz.

When it comes to optics, the Redmi 11 5G is rumored to have a dual rear camera configuration with a primary 50MP sensor and a secondary 2MP sensor. In the front, there is a 5MP selfie camera. Furthermore, the Redmi 11 5G is equipped with a 5G-capable MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset.

The Redmi 11 5G also includes 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Furthermore, the smartphone will include a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging capabilities. Other features and characteristics of the Redmi 11 5G are yet to be revealed.

Note series phones from Xiaomi has been very popular in many markets, Nepal being one of them. Redmi Note 7 series was one of the best budget segment phone of 2019, selling over 20 million units globally. Xiaomi Nepal launched its successor, the Redmi Note 8 series in November for the Nepali Market, which includes Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro. Today we will be doing the bigger Redmi Note 8 Pro review.

 

Redmi Note 8 Pro Overview

Redmi Note 8 Pro is similar to its smaller brother Redmi Note 8, featuring the same glass sandwich design( Gorilla glass 5 on the front and back) with frame in the middle which is made of plastic. Back glass features 4 sided 3D curved back which is more curvy than its predecessor for better handling.

 

On the display side, Xiaomi Note 8 Pro features a 6.53 inch IPS LCD display with the resolution of 1080 x 2340, aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and pixel count of ~395 ppi. The display is bright and vibrant usable in any lighting conditions with maximum brightness of 500 nits,and good viewing angles.

 

Coming to the hardware, Redmi Note 8 Pro is powered by Mediatek Helio G90T processor which is bundled with 6 or 8GB of RAM and 64/128/256GB of internal storage. Graphics of the phone is handled by Mali-G76 MC4 GPU. Phone handles the big title games played in the highest settings with no issue. We also benchmarked the phone using Antutu and got the total score of 2,88,694.

Talking about the camera, the phone comes with a quad camera setup placed vertically at top center of the phone. Primary sensor being a 64 MP, f/1.9 wide angle lens which is assisted by 8 MP f/2.2 ultrawide, 2 MP f/2.4 dedicated macro camera, and a 2 MP f/2.4 depth sensor. In the front a 20 MP, f/2.0 wide angle lens is housed in the water-drop notch.

The primary camera of the phone is capable of taking good looking 4K video @30fps or a normal HD video @30/60/120fps. The phone also supports 720p slowmo video @960fps for that super slow motion capture.

Redmi Note 8 Pro runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) based on MIUI 10 upgradable to MIUI 11 and comes with an impressive 4500 mAh battery supporting 18W fast charging. We tasted the charging time of the phone which took around 1 hour 50 mins to charge from 10 to 100% using a Qualcomm 3.0 charger which lasted 2 days with moderate use.

Additional features of the phone include, dual sim support, dedicated memory card slot expandable up to 256 GB via microSD, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type C, audio jack and a rear-mounted finger-print sensor just below the camera array.

Xiaomi has finally launched the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max in Nepal. 

The company has brought the global variant of the phone which goes by Redmi Note 10 Pro. It brings a 120Hz AMOLED display and a 108MP camera for the mid-range masses. 

The new Redmi Note 10 Pro (Max) sports an all-new design. Since the Redmi Note 7 series, the company was using the Aura design. Redmi is referring to its new design language as “Evol”.

The display is protected by a Gorilla Glass 5, although Xiaomi hasn’t mentioned what material they have used on the back. As expected, the phone comes with a splash-resistant build. 

Moving on, the front of the display sports a flat panel. But the biggest improvement has to be in the display quality front on the Note 10 Pro (Max). It comes with a 6.67-inch FullHD+ AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Both AMOLED screen and a higher refresh rate are a first for the Redmi Note series.

The company claims it has 1200nits of brightness with a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. Furthermore, the display supports HDR10. At the back, Redmi has opted for a new camera bump design. The new rectangular camera bump is now on the left side of the rear panel. 

Camera

Redmi Note 10 Pro (Max) features a 108MP primary camera. It’s a Samsung ISOCELL HM2 sensor with 9-in-1 pixel binning resulting in 12MP images that we’ve seen in other Xiaomi phones like the Mi 10i. In addition to the primary camera, it has an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, a 5MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. 

On the selfie front, there’s a new and improved 16MP lens located at the center-lying punch hole. Xiaomi says they have made the notch smaller which now measures just 2.96mm in diameter.
Redmi has partnered with Qualcomm for the processor in the Note 10 devices.

The Note 10 Pro (Max) is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 732G, which the same chipset powering the Poco X3. It is still an upgrade over the Snapdragon 720G that was used in the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. As far as memory goes, you get up to 8GB of DDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of onboard UFS 2.2 storage. 

Battery

Redmi Note 10 Pro (Max) is powered by a 5020mAh battery. There’s a 33W fast charger included inside the box. It also has Hi-Res audio, improved haptics, and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
